Why Has No One Called Out Trump on His False Claim that Vice President Harris Didn't Pass The Bar?

Of course it's baseless. Trump claimed that she didn't PASS the bar exam.

You can't become an attorney and legally practice law without admission to the bar.

The fact that Vice President Harris held several positions as a prosecuting attorney is SUFFICIENT to conclude with CERTAINTY that she PASSED the bar exam. Passing the bar exam is a NECESSARY condition for becoming an attorney & practicing law in the U.S.
She didn’t pass the bar!

I was always a very inquisitive child and I still, to this day, can't imagine why people such as Trump, who is running for the highest office in the United States, is allowed to get away with making these types of ridiculous false statements:

Donald Trump's claims about Vice President Kamala Harris not being smart and suggesting she didn't pass the bar are not only baseless but highlight a staggering ignorance of the legal profession. Let’s be clear: Kamala Harris was a prosecutor. It is quite literally impossible to serve as a prosecutor without passing the bar exam. Prosecutors are attorneys responsible for representing the government in court — a position that requires passing the bar, which she obviously did.
If Trump can’t grasp that basic fact, it raises serious questions about his ability to distinguish between reality and his delusions. Criticizing someone for their intellect while ignoring fundamental legal requirements just reveals more about him than it ever could about Vice President Harris. She built a successful career as a district attorney and then attorney general of California — one of the largest legal systems in the country — while Trump continues to peddle falsehoods, perhaps relying on the fact that most of his supporters take his word as gospel, and apparently are unable to put two & two together and question why, when they don't add up to four.
Educate yourself. Harris failed the bar exam on her first attempt. Technically he has told the truth.

President Trump did not lie....

MSN Most intelligent people can pass the bar in California on the first attempt since you only need a 50% or better to pass. But really, to fail on the first try. That is Democrat Voter stupid for sure.
Of course Trump lied. He said she didn't pass the bar when she obviously did. He didn't make his statement conditional by indicating "on her first attempt", he was intentionally misleading the ignorant among his supporters into believing that somehow, she is deficient in some manner.

Prosecutor is a political position.
Willie Brown funded her so that she could drop charges against him and his associates.

Not everyone fails at becoming successful, though.

  • Vice President Kamala Harris (a graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of Law) failed the California bar exam on her first try.
  • The Former First Lady Michelle Obama – (a graduate of Harvard Law School) failed the Illinois bar exam on her first try.
  • Secretary of State and past Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton failed the DC bar exam the first time she took it. She passed the Arkansas bar after that.
  • President Franklin D. Roosevelt failed the New York bar exam on his first try after attending Harvard College and Columbia Law School . . . and he was subsequently elected President four times!
  • John F. Kennedy, Jr. failed the New York bar exam twice before passing it on his third try.
  • Several Governors have failed the bar exam. Former California Governor, Pete Wilson, failed the California bar exam three times before passing it on his fourth try. Two-time governor of California, Jerry Brown, also failed the bar exam.
  • Several Mayors have failed the bar exam (some more than once!), including New York mayor, Ed Koch; Chicago Mayor, Richard Daley, and Los Angeles Mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa.

Didn't pass the bar the first time. We all know this. She got there the second time. Good for her.

Gosh, Mr. Mariyam, seems like you could have fleshed all this out in your OP. But you didn't. Are you spinning the news, playing fast and loose with the facts? Are you trying to sow disinformation?

For shame.

No

You can't be an attorney without passing the bar.
Sure you can. A J.D. makes you an attorney. You can't practice law without being admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction you want to practice, but some States will accept the degree in lieu of the bar exam.

Every State has their own requirements. In Wisconsin if you get a J.D. from Marquette or U of Wisconsin law school you are exempted from the exam. It's called "diploma privilege".
