Why Doesn't Kimmel Apologize?​

Never gonna happen. For one thing:

1. He's not the slightest bit sorry.
2. Doing so would only be seen as surrendering/caving to Trump fascism.
3. Actually, he and ABC tried to work it out prior to his cancellation and failed.
4. Kimmel would rather be stuffed alive with sawdust and feathers than to beg mercy for what he said.

I actually caught a few minutes of the guy on NBC doing comedy poking fun at Trump and this whole matter just last night--- Seth somebody guy? It was actually pretty funny. It proved to me that yeah, you can make fun of Trump or social issues and still leave it as harmless comedy instead of making it cruel and political.

His show slowly losing viewership and then he lied about the shooter trying to blame the right (he meant Trump) for the assassination of the highly popular Charlie Kirk. He went too for the networks, they pressured Iger who folded and now, Kimmel is history. The FCC has nothing to do with it.

I'm already satisfied Kimmel got canceled or at least suspended. It's not funny or entertaining to lie about an assassination. I just wonder what keeps him from just saying he's sorry for lying. Kimmel was fired because the networks did not want to support his show not only because of falling ratings but his unhinged lie about Kirk's assassin. It was a business decision and not unconstitutional.
