Why Do Trump Supporters Have Such A Hard Time Admitting He's A Convicted Felon?

The "crimes" Trump was charged with were hilariously weak, the equivalent in the business world to jaywalking. A giant nothingburger.
Never has a person in American history been persecuted and prosecuted as much as Donald Trump. The Left and Deep State HATE him because he's upset their monopoly.
Trump IS and always has been the Deep State.
Trump's cult are SOOOO..........Gullible.

No denial that President Trump was convicted of falsifying records in a case where the prosecutor is now under indictment for mortgage fraud which is also a form of falsifying records.

Trump was also impeached twice and lost an election to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and then subsequently beat them both in the same Election in 2024.
My interpretation was it was more a difference in accounting methods* and laws were created to make the method Trump & Co. used to be a felony. Then there followed a kangaroo court show to "convict" him.

* business expenditures placed in the "wrong" column of the ledgers.

There seems to be a lot of self-denial about his convictions. Why can't his supporters admit the truth--that he was convicted on all 34 charges by a DC court.
Will this fact also follow the election result deniers path of massive resistance at first and now a comparatively few still hold out that Trump won the 2020 election?

Your TDS is complete. It's akin Chronic Wasting Disease within the Democrat Party.
In your case you discount the lies of the Media, DEmocrat Lawfare, and the crimes of sedition committed by Democrats from 2015 to the present day.
Most if not all the allegations and so-called convictions are or are in process of re-adjudication in Appeals Courts or in SCOTUS.
It seems that even the Civil suit supposedly won by E. Jean Carroll is being reviewed.

Because they believe Trump was the victim of a witch hunt.

/----/ Of course, if you have a D after your name, it's Okey Dokey.
"Marc Elias, who also served as the Clinton campaign lawyer, paid opposition research firm Fusion GPS to produce the dossier which exposed alleged connections between Donald Trump and Russia government. It also contained salacious allegations about Trump's personal escapades. According to reports, the Hillary for America campaign paid for the research but routed the payments through Elias' law firm Perkins Coie and described the purpose of the money as "legal services" on their FEC disclosures. The DNC and the Clinton campaign reported dozens of payments totaling more that $12 million dollars to Perkins Coie over the course of the campaign.

No, it wasn't "business expenditures placed in the wrong column".

It was a coordinated fraud involving invoices for a retainer that didn't exists, billed for services not performed, and the money laundered through Trumps business entity an an attempt to hide Cohen's criminal activity regarding federal election fraud. The funny think is, that if Trump hadn't tried to bury in his business and just stroked a reimbursement check to Cohen at the time, there would have been no legal jeopardy. It was laundering the payments over the course of a year through his business that tripped him up.

Those that paid attention to the trial and reviewed the testimony and transcripts during the trial know that.

I mean if it helps you sleep at night, believe as you wish, but that doesn't change reality.

Hell I'm sure if you search you can still get the transcripts online.

Oct 24, 2016 — Donald Trump said he received a $17 million insurance payment in 2005 for hurricane damage to Mar-a-Lago, his private club in Palm Beach.

PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Donald Trump said he received a $17 million insurance payment in 2005 for hurricane damage to Mar-a-Lago, his private club in Palm Beach, but The Associated Press found little evidence of such large-scale damage.

Two years after a series of storms, the real estate tycoon said he didn’t know how much had been spent on repairs but acknowledged he pocketed some of the money. Trump transferred funds into his personal accounts, saying that under the terms of his policy, “you didn’t have to reinvest it.”

Trump’s description of extensive damage does not match those of Mar-a-Lago members and even Trump loyalists. In an interview about the estate’s history, Trump’s longtime former butler, Anthony Senecal, recalled no catastrophic damage. He said Hurricane Wilma, the last of a string of storms that barreled through in 2004 and 2005, flattened trees behind Mar-a-Lago, but the house itself only lost some roof tiles.

“That house has never been seriously damaged,” said Senecal, discussing Mar-a-Lago’s luck with hurricanes. “I was there for all of them.”

None of that is actually true -

Shocking from you!

Aww, that's the first thing people who are in cult do.
Deny they're in a cult.

There is nothing Trump could do, that his cult won't defend.

From treason and voter fraud to tearing down the white house.
You nut jobs defend him.

LOL.

Just what Trump would say.

Obama tore down parts of the white house so that he and his nappy headed homeboys could -

(well you know)
