Why do I need an AR15?

I would suggest they use human silouette targets for making the purpose realistic.
Deer or rabbit would be more appropriate or just a typical target used for sighting in the firearm first.

Why do you think it would be OK to groom a child to kill human beings for no reason? That is not very 'realistic' unless you're a psychopath.

Simple, and glaringly obvious:

Since Jan 20, 2025, Democrats / liberals / leftist have demonstrated they are -more- than comfortable with political violence, and are maybe 20-30 minutes away from taking it to the streets at the wholesale level. As these domestic terrorists always travel in packs - Burning and Looting Mobs,, as it were - I need an AR15 to deal with the threat they pose to my person, my family, and my property.

We on the right thank you for the clarity your actions bring to the gun control debate; we now know why (as if there was ever a question) you have always been so keen to ban these weapons from private possession.

A personal note to my friends on the left:
Those plastic barrel riot shields you use to intimidate those you oppose aren't rated for M855.

.
A better question is not why you need an AR15. The better question is why you as a peaceful and law abiding citizen adult with no criminal record and with no diagnosed substance abuse or mental issues should not have one if you want one.

Yeah, but not so much for kids unless, maybe teaching self defense. Personally, I like cans, bottles, etc. Maybe even showing a kid the damage a gun can do to a human being in conjunction with a gun safety class.

Tell them about guns, the history, etc. Guns have played a major role in shaping World history yet, they are almost invisible in the history we teach our children.

Teach them just how destructive guns can be yet how we use them to bring meat to the table, defend ourselves, etc.

Of course all that would have to go along with teaching American traditions, values and morality so.......Never mind.

2A/ RTKBA is not about hunting ( Teach your kids about the Constitution , and how wrong Karl Marx was )

When I was a kid, I had a fully automatic toy machine gun. BB gun, pellet rifle, .22 long rifle along with knives and axes. Not one of those objects caused me to want to harm a soul.

Wish I had a good flat 700 yard plot of land, long-range shooting sounds like fun. It's hilly here, so all I can do are steel targets at 25 yards and one up the hill at about 70 yards.

Sometimes I'll shoot bowling balls placed up the hill at 50 yards for shits and giggles with the Springfield 03A3. We get them at garage sales for a dollar every Summer. You'd probably not want to shoot one with lower-velocity RN pistol ammo, it can possibly bounce back and hit you.

When I was 8 or so my mom took me to the reservation so she could visit her mom.

Needless to say, I was the 'city boy' so all the kids had fun picking on me. One day they decided to really humiliate me so they handed me a .22 rifle and we all went hunting.

Of course they pointed out a bird for me to shoot which I dutifully did. No one had ever taught me how to shoot, so I hip shot and took the head off of that little sucker from about 50 yards away.

Everyone was stunned, especially me. That's when I discovered I had a natural 'eye', if I could see it, I could hit it.

The thing was, after we had confirmed I had killed it, I felt terrible. It was the first time I had killed something other than an insect, and the fact that, in my mind it had been so thoughtless, and there wasn't anything to eat, so all we got were some feathers.

So, I talked to some of the elders there, and they assured me that I would be OK, and the birds spirit wasn't mad at me.

But to this day I still think about that little bird.

In the UK, AR-15 style rifles are legal to own, but with specific restrictions: they must be chambered for .22LR or .22 Winchester Magnum rounds, and must be straight-pull or bolt-action, not semi-automatic, with no restrictions on magazine capacity. Owning a AR15 variant is not a problem in the UK, you just have to be a safe character, thats the bit that frightens Americans.

Nah. We understand that with freedoms come responsibilities. Bad people will always be able to get guns. Your country is proof of that, a damned island but your gun murder rate is increasing as more violent third worlders are imported, and, you people aren't allowed to defend yourself.

So, have fun, and good luck. You're going to need it.
