Not me. Not a damn one of my predecessors entered this country, period. Hell, it wasn't a country. Paternal line, early 1600's, actually a very famous person that was dug up out of the ground a few years back and the search was on for a direct Y chromosome descendent. My son became that descendent, completing his DNA test last year. Maternal, early 1700's. In fact, after a detailed analysis on Ancestry.com, going back to the early 16th century, the most recent "immigrant" in my family tree was a Casket girl out of New Orleans.

All of my grandkids can qualify as members of the Sons of the Revolution or the Daughters of the American Revolution, and they can pick a line, paternal or maternal, in which to qualify because they both do. Hell, my wife is a member of a Scottish royal family and supposedly, her Mom has traced their family tree all the way back to Constantinople.

The point here is that if anyone has a right to complain about immigrants, it is me. And yet I don't. Go figure.
