Right now 10,000 to 20,000 can cross a day....there are no limits on how many in a caravan can cross in a day.

5000 cap before it triggers an automatic shut down is enormously better than what we have now, because you failed to pass this bipartisan bill for solely political posturing!

It is a really good bill, with lots of measures that would curb the chaos at the border, stop and catch more traffickers of drugs, reduce immigration Court dates from 5 years down to 6 months, limit who can make claim to be asylum seekers more so than today, with building more detention centers to eventually eliminate catch and release until court hearing, add more border patrol, add more Port entry border crossing agents....

It was a once in a lifetime, missed opportunity border bill that would have passed in both houses of Congress and signed in to law....

YOU ALL showed your true colors....by not putting it up for a vote... You only care about the border for political party posturing....!
