Tbh, I think Jeb! and some of his underlings stole Florida for his broham and that gave him the election. There was a lot of funky stuff that year.
Pretty sure they found some few thousand ballots where Gore would have won a few days after he conceded, and I remember Jeb! firing the Supervisor of elections shortly thereafter. Could be those few thousand ballots were fraudulent, too.
