PARIS, Sept. 16. Dozens of armed migrants attacked three adults and a child in the commune of Tardengen in the Pas-de-Calais department in northern France, the JDD publication reported.
“In the night from Saturday to Sunday, when they were in their hut, three duck hunters and a three-year-old child were attacked by about sixty migrants who came to “take revenge”: the French police did not allow these migrants to cross the Channel towards the UK,” the publication says.
First, armed with machetes and iron bars, the illegals broke car windows and stole things. They then tried to break into the shelter where the hunters had barricaded themselves, but the hunters managed to hold the door until the police arrived.
According to a CSA poll for Europe1 radio station, CNews TV channel and the Journal du Dimanche newspaper published the day before, 77% of French people are in favor of restoring border controls to reduce the influx of migrants and as part of the fight against the terrorist threat. The idea is supported by the vast majority of French residents, regardless of gender, age or standard of living.
Migrants often take every opportunity to enter the UK and gain refugee status. It opens access to financial allowance and social programs. In August 2022, more than 13.5 thousand illegal immigrants crossed the Channel, and the total number of migrants arriving in Britain in 2022 reached a record 45 thousand. In 2023, about 30 thousand migrants arrived in the country. The British authorities spend several million pounds a day to accommodate refugees in hotels.
