Why Cant I Post Links From My Phone?

Posted fine from phone.

New update to my phone last night.

I was able to paste full links again in the text editor. Crisis averted!

The problem is "the bolding" of some parts of the URL. Told you how to remove the URL formatting stuff (whatever its intent was/is
There was no "bolding"

I copied directly from the Chrome or Firefox browser. It wouldn't paste into the textbook.

Have no problems on another political forum. No problems here either after the latest update. Don't use my laptop much so I don't know about that

Death Angel -- GO BACK to post #29 and tell there's "no bolding" in the Bongino link you gave..

Sheesh....

Our Xenforo editor is SMART ENOUGH not to mess with formatted text or links. So while you might not SEE that bolding in the run o'the mill text editor -- we dont SCREW with all the advanced formatting.

That's the way IT SHOULD BE --- until a cabal of jerks starts agreeing to ROUTE links different ways by BOLDING parts of the URL..

Of course there was bolding. The link you passed me to the Bongino site had BOLDED characters for the https:// part of the URL...

I FIXED THAT -- by removing whatever control characters was CAUSING that bolding.

That WAS the issue.
I typed the bolded part in bold to HIGHLIGHT IT because no matter how many times I explained the problem people offered "solutions" that weren't.

I said I had to remove ""https://" and paste the link back in MINUS the "https://" THEN RETYPE IT IN because I couldn't copy and paste ANY RAW LINK.

I don't know how to make it and more clear so I moved on.

I was just trying to let you guys know about a problem and see if anyone else had similar problems. A FEW DID.

Works now after an update, so I'm moving on

Sheesh....
I did that to show you the portion I...
1. Had to remove from the link in notepad
2. Paste the link MINUS that portion, because it wouldn't paste otherwise
3. Manually RETYPE https:// into the pasted text to make the link work.

Sheesh.
