Why Biden urgently needs to end the war in Ukraine through talks with Russia

Last week, Reuters published a report Putin was ready to negotiate an end to the war on the current battlefield lines.

What Ukraine gained from the war? Its economy and infrastructure have been crippled, it is mired in massive amounts of foreign debt, faces more than half a trillion dollars in reconstruction costs, seen its democratic institutions degraded — all while facing a social crisis from its rapidly aged and disabled population.

Worse, Ukraine has started losing territory it gained back in its fall 2022 counteroffensive, as Russia has leveraged its far bigger population and resources to slowly make gains. Western intelligence agencies now reportedly expect the country to suffer “significantly greater territorial losses” by the end of this year.

Taking advantage of Putin’s apparent openness to a ceasefire and striking a deal now, however unpleasant, will be better for everyone: for the state of Ukraine, for its people, and for the safety of the entire world.

The Big Lie about Russia wanting invade Western Europe is finally being exposed. Unfortunately, many Western politicians adopted this lie in order to remain in power, and are now unwilling to let go of it. Why is a cease-fire in Palestine promoted while a cease-fire in Ukraine opposed? Follow the money.

Follow the politics too. Joe needs something to brag about and right now he's got nothin'. Whatever Putin wants, Biden is going to give it to him, and desperate politicians lead to desperate measures.

Yes, but it will not be better for the Democrat's friends in the industrial military complex.

Joe Biden started that war when he invited Putin to invade Ukraine.

All to cover up his decades-long money laundering operations in Europe.
