I am conservative because I don't know what is good for people. Since I know that I don't know what is good for people I know no one else knows what is good for me. Also I don't believe in force except in extreme circumstances. So unless I would take your life to achieve something I don't think there should be a law or the government should be involved.

The FEDERAL government was not meant to do much except national defense, keep commerce regular (make it easy to do business across state lines), citizen rights, and settle disputes between the states. Not much else.
