What a stupid post......seems to be your specialty. You're a communist....you support the communist Trump who wants Walmart to implement price controls.
See? It's easy to play this stupid ******* game.
There are Democrat intellectuals....as stated in the OP......just aren't any on the board.Thread topic is an oxymoron.
Real intellectuals are too smart to be Democrat morons.
Democrats aren't smart enough to be intellectuals.
Why can't you answer the question? This thread has "completely obliterated" the Dunning-Kruger Irony meter.
It's a true USMB classic. A remarkable achievement. A feat of historic proportions. An accomplishment for the ages.
"I don't get"I don't get the point of the thread since the left has always been the working class majority who believe in equal rights of a republic, and the right has always been the wealthy elite who want an aristocracy.
The right then hates communism because it would cut into their profits.
But everyone should like communism because it should cut prices in half from not having to pay profits to the wealthy elite owners, stockholders, and banks.
But every time I try to being up any real points, the right just starts throwing out name calling.
I don't know what the question is -- I assume it's buried in one of your comically long and tedious diatribes -- but I'd have as much luck communicating with wild-eyed jihadi on the streets of Damascus, a loony Antifa goober living in a Portland cardboard box, or a janitor at Kim Jong Un's Ryongsong Palace. Why can't you answer the question?
If the direction of the Democrat Party, nationally, mirrors that of Mamdani, Bernie, and AOC, will you vote Democrat?I am not a resident of New York City, so mayoral candidates there do not concern me.
I recognize the superior knowledge of scientists, medical doctors, and educators in their respective disciplines over political ideologues, however fanatical.
Only dumb folks swallow crap like the Blowhard you worship lying about Black immigrants eating pet cats and dogs.

Play your games. I'm not interested.
No. I'm back to voting third party as of 2024.If the direction of the Democrat Party, nationally, mirrors that of Mamdani, Bernie, and AOC, will you vote Democrat?
Yes, thank you.No. I'm back to voting third party as of 2024.
You're welcome.
If the alternative is an ideological cult that denies scientific and medical reality, and spews hateful lies such as Black immigrants eating pet dogs and cats, I would prefer whichever respects the truth, of course. I would not vote for stupid and dishonest. If the direction of the Democrat Party, nationally, mirrors that of Mamdani, Bernie, and AOC, will you vote Democrat?
Are they all of NYC, you dunce.
You claim to turn decision making to educated, experts, scientists.
This proves how truly stupid you are.
Education is far from an indication of rectitude.
You probably don't realize how lucky you are to come to my threads.
Today is a perfect example.
Watch me prove that "education" is meaningless without integrity and wisdom.
Education has nothing to do with values, integrity, or wisdom.
Here are some that believe as you do:
"No country in Europe, except Britain, had a better education system than Germany at the onset of the Hitler era." Lance Morrow, "Evil: An Investigation," p. 123
What does that tell you about the relationship between education and evil?
How about this:
1. More details are emerging about Humam al-Balawi, the man who blew up seven intelligence agents in Afghanistan. By education and professional status, the Jordanian doctor is typical of recent suicidal attackers. The man accused of trying to blow up a plane on Christmas Day is a Nigerian graduate of the University of London. In the Fort Hood shootings, a Palestinian-American psychiatrist in the U.S. Army has been charged.
Humam al-Balawi was said to be carrying information about Ayman al-Zawahiri, Osama bin Laden's number two, himself a surgeon who was born to a prominent Egyptian family.
Mohamed Atta of 9/11, who was an Egyptian urban planner who had been working in Germany - these are not the wretched of the earth. What essentially is the grievance that draws them to al-Qaida?

2. A recent study at Princeton University by Alan Krueger and Jitka Maleckova, called "Education, Poverty, Political Violence and Terrorism: Is There a Causal Connection?" argues this point. One piece of the Krueger-Maleckova evidence involves 129 members of Hezbollah who died in action, mostly against Israel, from 1982 to 1994. Hezbollah is now designated by the U.S. as a terrorist organization. Biographical information from the Hezbollah newspaper al-Ahd indicates that the fighters who died were, on average, more educated and less impoverished than the Lebanese population of comparable age and regional origin….Moreover, the Palestinians' adherence to the view that the mass murder of civilians was not terrorism was independent of education and higher among those working than unemployed. Hence, support for terrorism was not reduced by increases in education and income….a study by Charles Russell and Bowman Miller (reprinted in the 1983 book Perspectives on Terrorism) considered 18 revolutionary groups, including the Japanese Red Army, Germany's Baader-Meinhof Gang, and Italy's Red Brigades. The authors found that "the vast majority of those individuals involved in terrorist activities as cadres or leaders is quite well-educated. In fact, approximately two-thirds of those identified terrorists are persons with some university training, [and] well over two-thirds of these individuals came from the middle or upper classes in their respective nations or areas." 3. …men who belonged to violent Islamist groups active over the past few decades (some in jail, some not). Had those groups reflected the working-age populations of their countries, engineers would have made up about 3.5 percent of the membership. Instead, nearly 20 percent of the militants had engineering degrees. When Gambetta and Hertog looked at only the militants whose education was known for certain to have gone beyond high school, close to half (44 percent) had trained in engineering.

What's the other choice in your made up scenario? Authoritarian kleptocracy handmaiden's tale future? If the direction of the Democrat Party, nationally, mirrors that of Mamdani, Bernie, and AOC, will you vote Democrat?
I cannot find any alternative, objective surveys that refute the empirical data that confirms that Red States are less-educated than Blue States, but invite those who whine about that reality to post any such studies.
Every Republican president since 1980 has caused a recession and massive unemployment. Reagan? Check, Bush Sr? Check. Bush Jr? Check. Trump? Check. Zero Democrats have caused recessions. The jobs added is 50M for democrats and about 1M for republicans. The GOP has raised the deficit under every president and every democrat has lowered it since 1980.
I have the receipts. They say you are fucked.
You skipped over and did not address the economic calamity of the GOP for the last 50 years. It is a tale of lost jobs, recessions, slow growth, and stagnant stock markets. I have the receipts. Of the 11 recessions that have occurred in the modern (post-World War II) era, 10 of them have occurred under Republican presidents.Ah, City bit, lol. OK City, we all have 1 question to start the debate, and one only--------------> Are the Democrats STILL DEMOCRATS, or are they Democrats in name only?
You tell all of us, WHICH DEMOCRAT over the last 40 years, allowed millions of illegals into the country before Biden?
Remember Jimmy.......JC.........Carter and Bill Clinton? Ummmmmmm, didn't they want to
1. Send illegals home and keep them out, and
2. Find a way for the USA to supply its own oil?
Also..............weren't blue collar workers ALWAYS Democrats? And now they are-)
So you see, your definition of a DEMOCRAT is flawed terribly. You tell us what Kamala and Biden have in common with JFK!
Same with your definition of the new Republicans. What does Trump have in common with Ford, or Nixon? Not much. Trump would actually be considered a blue dog Democrat in decades past.
And so-------->your whole PREMISE of Democrats VERSUS Republicans in this day and age, is 100% faulty. That is like me insisting that all DEMOCRATS today are racist, because it was they who fostered in the Klu-Klux-Klan, and Woodrow Wilson loved him some Klan. What these 2 political party's once were, they are no longer..........which is EXACTLY why LEFTISTS hate Trump so much. It was always easy to tie up stuff shirt GOPers in knots.......and many of them deserved it. Not so much with DJT. If anything, he ties the Democrats in knots, wouldn't you say! You doubt me? Then ask yourself this question--------->Why is the Democratic Party SHRINKING, and the Republican and Independents growing?
Just remember Gator and friends------------>it isn't me INSISTING that the Democrats are in deep trouble........I am just regurgitating what is said.........by YOUR OWN PEOPLE!
AND ANYBODY suggesting how wonderful the Democrats are from past performance, should understand that is like saying the New York Yankees are going to win the world series every year, because they were so good in the past.
Logical, THINKING people need debate current policies, not past ones, to discover a way forward!
And so, like I said------------>do you support having those 12 to 20 million illegals running our streets, while receiving free government services.....paid for out of our pockets? OR RATHER----------> Yay team, keep the border closed, and ship as many of the freeloaders out as possible? Enquiring minds want to know!

I appreciate you at least didnt call facts fake news. You keep trying to insist that THESE Democrat policies, are akin to THOSE Democrat policies of the past. Who in the past for the Democrats was AOC? Ilhan? Who wanted to let all these illegals in? Who wanted to mandate electric vehicles?
These are the questions of OUR time, not what some politician did 50 years ago.
YOU keep glossing over what YOUR PARTY wants to do. I think we should discuss the better choice going forward. If you want to discuss things from 50 years ago, take a history class. We need answers going forward, not backwards.
I appreciate you at least didnt call facts fake news.
As for old results vs new democrats: Biden has only been out of office for 6/7 months? Same folks are in the democratic party. The record under Biden was pretty much what you get from Democrats. Job growth, GDP growth, no recessions, and deficit reductions. You have been conditioned to listen instead of look. If you look at results you will come to a different conclusion than listening to right wing propaganda which points to some dude in a dress that votes democrat so you lose your mind and vote against your interests.
