1. That means here, on the board. There certainly are Leftist intellectuals....Johnson actually wrote a book titled "Intellectuals." And, of course there was Kal Marx, Alinsky, Gramsci, Lenin, Mao......
2.Definition: An intellectual is
a person who engages in critical thinking, research, and reflection about the nature of reality, especially the nature of society and proposed solutions for its normative problems. Google.
3.But here on the board, basking in
the most beautiful aspect of America, free speech, we can't seem to get beyond cursing and juvenile tit-for-tats that don't address the pivotal aspect of our Left-Right views. Where are the "good point," or "I never thought of that" or "I don't agree because..."?
Where are the carefully posited view points, documented with important quotes and statements by names we all know and respect?
While this board could be college or grad school, it is
largely junior high.
4.So where are the clearly written, well thought out, documented beyond simple opinion, OPs about why the Left/Far Left (that's the Democrat Party today) is better for America and Americans, and how they wil bring their plans to fruition? In an article today, Chuck Todd reveals that the Democrats have no ability to do any of those things, and voters who just vote for the party no matter what, are the same.
