That's what it is, when you are not allowed to "confront your accuser." You bet it's not a trial. And it is the job of the opposition party to call foul. THEY are the reason this is happening.

It's day after day of what has turned into a perpetual accusation crusade. Yet nobody accused is allowed to speak or even be present.

It violates every tenet of America's legal system, yet they are using subpoena powers and other legal authority.

To those claiming that this is just how congressional hearings and investigations work, that's not true. When congress holds hearings involving companies, those companies are allowed to have representatives of the company present, along with their lawyers. They are also able to refute accusations and offer contrary evidence.

Patience, grasshopper.

Patience.

The Dems are blowing their wad right now. On a person who's not even likely to be the next Republican candidate.

We are more than two years AHEAD OF the race for the man they're trying to torpedo.

And meanwhile, we have the November elections, and as soon as the Republicans regain control of the House, these hearings and Democratic shenanigans are finished on the spot.

We only have to put up with this crap for five more months, and the best question is can we do it without locking the leftards in a room and beating the shit out of them first. :p

So you do know it's not a trial and then you don't?

Rebuttal witnesses must be heard. So far still no word from Cheney that she'll let the Secret Service agents testify.
