Because Democrats who have a camara pointed at them and a Trump supporter in front of them cannot resist asking that question.

Dick Durbin at the second day of the Pam Bondi hearing:

(6:45) "There are still some out standing issues . . . that I'm struggling with. Let's start with a very important issue. Who won the election in 2020? Why are we still asking that question for goodness sake?"

This has definitely been asked and answered.

Democrats, is it time to give that one a rest?

Because Republicans cannot erase history
They invented a lie to cover up their election loss.
That lie resulted in the Jan 6 attack on our Capitol

The fact that we still have Republicans who support that lie out of fear of Trump is relevant to their ability to serve our country

What does it matter? Biden took office. His term will end in only four days, thank God.

As to the Jan 6th, with Pam Bondi inevitibly becoming Attorney General, and Kash Patel at the helm of the FBI, we may finally get the truth about the FBI undercover assets in the capital that day, and what was their role.

Until then, no informed judgement about Jan 6 is possible.

It matters because it reflects on your personal integrity
Responsible Republicans realize they lost in 2020 and there was no activity that impacted the results of that election.
Those who rely on Trump for their political future embrace the stolen election lie.
It is good to know which is which

Nope. t has not been answered. The question wasn't who the president is. The question was who won the election. Many cult members still say trump won. You don't get how that could be a problem?

But the angle of the question was an attempt at disparagement.
Nope. As long as crazy cult members continue to tear our country apart with unfounded claims the question is valid. You don't think it is odd that nobody came up with even a sliver of credible evidence showing trump won?

No.

Tell me why it is such a problem for you.

Considering Joe Biden is a lie a minute the Republicans are definitely able to run the country.

There was a peaceful transfer of power.
Sure. January 6th, 2021. And before that, dozens of needless lawsuits.
And Trump stonewalling Biden's transition team.

Trump doesn't deserve the smooth transition he's getting now. He deserves a prison cell.
But...the adults are currently in charge. That will change next week when kindergarten is back in session. :)

What then, is your opinion of the American voters who brought this about?
