GOP were being blamed for the possible shutdown when they were in opposition, so, by this logic is should not be the party in power but the party resisting.

However, since we know the entire MSM outside of Fox wants Trump got and many live in a socialist bubble, it will be Trump and the GOP, no question. The Democrats will continue to get a pass, even as they obstruct, present little to no policies and have a dangerous alt-left, anti-American contingency brewing.

If I am Trump I remind the public everyday on twitter and via media that the Demos have obstructed his election win, his campaign promises, and the will of the people, I would tell them, "how many votes dids the Dems give for tax cuts? "How many supported helping with Obamacare?"

They have to repeat this mantra until Americans realise, they have no interest in any governance. This isn't like the GOP with the Tea Party, a small fringe group, this is an entire party defying any and all things to do with government. Even boycotting events and lambasting the president as they have no answers as to how they became so wealthy on a politicians salary.
