Our government as a whole has been killing us for political gain for some time indeed. In the end, it is our fault. We the People authorize our government to kill us, it's own people, and doing that was a terrible mistake. One can be driving to church on any Sunday morning, get pulled over for whatever reason, reach for our insurance and registration and be shot to death by the cops. After such incidents go down the rest of America always blames the driver for reaching toward his glove box but the truth is we should have never been okay with the authorization of government henchmen to kill us on the spot . . . anytime, any place.

It does seem a lot of these shooters are standing around waving enormous red flags for months before they go on their shooting spree.

Perhaps the FBI is far too busy monitoring white supremacists, parents upset at critical race theory and trying to find something to charge Trump and his associates with to take the time to stop mass murderers.

In passing, I suspect the NICS background check system is often not up to date. Many people who should not be able to purchase firearms are not on that list.

Your proof is not proof of anything.

He had more than a dozen AR platform rifles, no M-240's. No ammunition belts loaded or unloaded were reported as being found nor does a 240 or such belts appear in the photos from the scene.

Hundred round magazines however for the AR's are available and were found.

Even that though will not stop anyone hell bent on committing such a crime from buying their desired weapons illegally.
