The real problem here is that we will probably sweep this under the rug because if you want to have a Jewish vs. Black discussion, then you'd have to really discuss how America had 400 years of systematically oppressing black people vs. 6 years when Germany lost it's shit and started killing Jews. It's not a conversation that Americans would be terribly comfortable with because while we are happy to point out the sins of others, we aren't so great at admitting our own.

Actually, from her perspective, she was completely right. The Holocaust was white people killing other white people. It wasn't about "Race". But because the Zionist lobby will never, ever let us forget the Holocaust was a thing that we can't ever stop talking about, even deviating from the standard view of it by one degree is unacceptable.
