So who supports the ceasefire?

As the song says “it aint me babe”

The ceasefire is only good for Iran, russia snd china

From America and Israel’s point of view it is pointless

The goal should be regime change in Iran

Otherwise bombing the nuke facilities was just a waste of time

Trump is totally out to lunch on this one

Schmizrael is in dire trouble and Iran will not fall for this phoney stunt - as you so clearly have done .

It is Tel Aviv that has almost run out of missiles ,whereas Iran has at least 3000 stocked .
Plus at least 300 being produced every month .

And Iran has access to Hyper Sonic missiles which can achieve in ten minutes what 125 US planes failed completel;y to achieve in 37 hours .

As we say ,
Gertcha you big soft Gullible .

The only alternative to ceasefire would be eventual invasion. Something we’ve tried and failed at with Iran’s neighbor and which Iran’s geography makes much more difficult.

The idea behind the strikes was to put the brakes on Tehran’s nuclear ambitions which will require regular Israeli wet-work and the occasional targeted airborne strikes.

Where will Iran produce those 300 missiles at?

And where will they store them that US and Israeli bombs cannot reach?

The ceasefire only prolongs the conflict

Nothing has been accomplished without victory

I’m not so sure

It is pessimistic to believe that the mullahs are invulnerable to pressure from within Iran

The ceasefire only helps the bearded throwbacks maintain their power

Do we REALLY want to take over Iran?

Have we learned nothing?

They just have to wait us out until our next regime starts giving them billions again. American foreign policy is nothing if not inconsistent.

Getting rid of their nuclear program achieves the result of reducing their threat to the world.

Ceasefire only applies to all out warfare.

Israel knows how to keep Iran on the back foot without resorting to all out war … let them do what they do best.

Welcome to the party.

You cannot stop the nuclear program unless we bomb them constantly

Which trump has now declined to do

I guess he wants a promise from Iran not to build nukes

A promise that is worthless

Trump is now preventing Israel from doing what it does best

Israel and the US have been stopping their program for over 20 years. Targeting their facilities and their scientists and preventing them from obtaining weapons-grade materials.

The Biden and Obama admin stopped our participation in that and actively supported Iranian nukes.

We’ve dealt them a huge blow now and undid a lot of Biden’s damage.

We can go back to business as usual for another decade or so.

Bannon is entitled to his opinion

But I think he’s wrong

Based on the recent videos and photos I've seen of Tel Aviv I don't think he's just stating his opinion. There has been massive damage. Plus, I don't think the public is used to relentless bombing like what's been going on, people have been freaking out. It sounds like you and others here have only seen a very one-sided picture of what's going on.

America's aggression towards Iran via Israel's rule is only encouraging them to build nuclear weapons.

Because the only countries America doesn't EFF w/are those w/nuclear weapons, e.g. North Korea.

Obama's deal was the best thing going, but the dunce had to prance in and tear it up, because..."Obama bad."

You have more confidence in that than I do

The Islamic Republic is s threat as long as it exists with or without nuclear weapons

And there is no assurance that the nuclear program has been completely stopped

ok

So how is Israel now safer from future attacks after the ceasefire?

Imagine a negotiated ceasefire with Hitler in WWII instead of total victory

Hitler still in power and fully in control of the Nazi war machine

That would have been snatching defeat from the jaws of victory

and so is Trump’s ceasefire

Its irrational to think that a nuclear armed North Korea is a good thing

There are lots of threats around the world. We can’t invade every one and give them the blessings of “democracy”. For one thing, we don’t have the money and for another democracy just don’t work for most of these threats.

Iran’s nuclear program isn’t stopped … it’s set back significantly and, as I said, will require continuing application of covert and overt military force as well as diplomatic pressure to keep setting it back.

The problem is America’s threats don’t have to fear America… they know we change parties, change policies, or just plain get bored with interfering with other people’s countries. Our foreign policy is like a dog chasing cars.

They can wait us out because they know we will eventually leave.
