I would like for democrats to explain to us how the Department of Education has improved education.

If so, how? Why is education in the US so terrible comparted to the rest of the world?

The DOE had decided that calculus is no longer needed. What a bunch of dipshits! They must be taking orders from China where 6th grade students are proficient in both integral and differential calculus.

Your first graph could also be a plot of average family income.
The lower 4 graphs don't prove anything about where the dumbest kids are.

But then at post #57 youre mixing in child poverty, which means that test scores or subject proficiency is more than just school performance. But schools should be working on mitigating problems that prevent the kids from performing.

Giving kids a good education to make them productive members of society is harder than it looks.
The best answer is that every kid has two parents with one being a "Tiger Mom", and an adequate household income.
I don't know how to fix that. Family planning? Better jobs & better wages? I don't do social engineering.

Medicare and Medicaid are full of FRAUD. They don't track dead people across platforms as an example.

I'm not sure how much low hanging fruit there is, but we do know that the Federal Budget is bloated and needs to be cut severely, without cutting entitlements. Getting rid of millions of illegals should also be a good start.

I remember one time I wanted to some remodeling, and I asked my sister if she thought it was better to take the money from my IRA (and pay income tax on it) or get a home equity loan (and pay interest on it). She said….

“Why don’t you just do what the Democrats do? Buy whatever you want and figure out how to pay for it later.”
