Some of you are not gonna like this.....
1. "Poll: Obama 'worst president' since World War II
2. In a new Quinnipiac University Poll, 33% named Barack Obama the worst president since World War II. Only 8% named Obama as the best president.
3. President Obama has topped predecessor George W. Bush in another poll, but not one he would like.
4. "Over the span of 69 years of American history and 12 presidencies, President Barack Obama finds himself with President George W. Bush at the bottom of the popularity barrel," said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll."
Poll: Obama 'worst president' since World War II
5. Just one more kick in the behind: guess who was picked, far and away, as the BEST PRESIDENT SINCE WWII????
"Ronald Reagan topped the poll as the best president since World War II, with 35%. He is followed by presidents Bill Clinton (18%) and John F. Kennedy (15%)."
His chickens....coming home.....to roost.

The poll is interesting. I just read it.
Quinnipiac is a good, solid polling organization that puts out good electoral polling data, pretty much right on target, so the results here don't seem tilted to me. But the title is deceptive.
You may now get off the floor, if that knocked you out of your seat.
However, it is a
plurality and not a
majority that think that Obama is the worst president since WWII.
Here is the poll:
National (US) Poll - July 2, 2014 - Obama Is First As Worst Presid | Quinnipiac University Connecticut
You are talking about question no. 36:
36. Which of these twelve presidents we have had since World War II would you consider the worst president: Harry Truman, Dwight Eisenhower, John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush Senior, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush or Barack Obama?
Obama 33
Bush (43) 28
Nixon 13
Carter 8
The other 8 presidents listed were at 3, 2 or 1%.
Margin: Obama +6
This also means that 67% of respondents do NOT think that Obama is the worst president since WWII and 72% have the same feelings about Bush.
So, the poll title is deceiving, a little bit. (Hey, they wanna make money too).
Not surprisingly, the majority of that number for Obama was driven by Republicans, and the majority of the number for Bush was driven by Democrats. You can see that by the internals that Qpiac publishes right next to the overall percentage values.
I remember seeing similar polls for Bush in 2006 and 2007. The stuff is interesting to see, if you are trying to market buyer's remorse, but the real mark of the Obama presidency will first be accurately felt in about 40 years, or two generations away from the current time horizon.
