The Bible lays down many conditions that takes you to hell, many of which are your own fault, and many of which are a result of authority of people and entities above you. You may or may not know what and when causes your soul to be in hell.
Medieval Christians held, that most mental illness as well as birth defects, are a result of the soul actually being in hell.
So there are many things and people in hell that don't belong there and are not meant to be there.
We also observe the worldwide reduction of effectiveness of prayers generally which is consistent with the statement that God accepts little prayer from hell, and the Holy Spirit requires baptism first.
Also, the work hours of exorcists is going up sharply worldwide whilst their effectiveness is falling.
So Pope Francis called the worldwide exorcism conference, and one of the goals is to better facilitate exorcists.
Christ gave us the commission to drive out demons, so we must begin by doing what Christ did and follow Him down into hell and back, in order to continue cleaning away all things out of hell that don't belong there and are not supposed to be there. As long as we don't follow Him and descend clean up and bring all back, all those things and all their pieces represent doorways for evil to go into people and into events, reducing the effectiveness of all prayers and exorcism work.
Without a global large scale concerted effort of many spiritual advisors, churches, as well as yes various religions, all pulling together, our effectiveness will continue to decrease, and exorcists will look like doctors in a hospital where there are no nurses.
The efforts of Pope Francis could be looked upon like a preparation for a global scale nurse hiring campaign, training, qualification, and employment, of spiritual nurses so to speak, in order to fulfill this vital part of The Great Comission, and thereby to restore the effectiveness of our prayers and exorcism works.
Considering today's worldwide graduate unemployment, underemployment, and general loss of economic opportunities due to automation, would you consider such a career?
