Who Will Democrats Turn To in 2024?

The Democrat Party will most likely put up a ticket of Biden and Harris.

Since the Biden Record will be the main issue in 2024, why not have those most responsible defend it? Why ruin someone else's future prospects when Sleepy Joe can do it. Biden isn't going to run after 2024, it isn't like its going to harm him at all.

If the Democrats reject Biden and nominate someone else they would not need to defend Biden administration policy. They would nominate that person because they don't want to defend Biden's ideas. They'd need to campaign on different ideas. Chances are they'd be much farther to the left. That's not going fly.

1. I believe Xiden will not be a candidate. Not ever again. The list of reasons includes but is not limited to:
Rapid mental deterioration far beyond what his claque envisioned (thought he might squeek thru 4 years)
General public disgust primarily about inflation though the war he will start to "fix" that might not go over well.
In-fighting. Xiden is not sufficiently far left for the growing Democrat party base.

2. I count Bernie Sanders out. His socialist bent is insufficient for the base.

3. Hillary remains a contender though she seems to have quit practicing her "black" accent - a symptom of the sort of dementia that so appealed to liberals but in which Xiden has disappointed them.

4. Michelle-who-hates-America. Never proud of this country until her partner (I don't count putative males as "husbands"). Definitely on the right path for American Serfdom for all to put her in the lead. Watch her visibility rise. Perhaps a "coming out" event as transgenderism grows in poplularity.
