Argentine President Javier Milei’s visit to Israel has led to the launch of a new regional diplomatic initiative aimed at strengthening the alliance with Latin America against Iran and terrorism, while expanding cooperation.

Alongside announcements regarding a direct flight route, memoranda of understanding, and the ongoing discussion surrounding the relocation of the Argentine embassy to Jerusalem, President Javier Milei’s visit is also expected to yield a broader diplomatic move today: the launch of the "Isaac Accords." Israel views this move as an initial attempt to build a new regional framework between Israel and Latin American countries, rooted in a pro-Israel, pro-American, and anti-Iranian stance. Behind the new name lies an initiative far more ambitious than a ceremonial declaration: an effort to create a diplomatic, economic, and security alliance between nations seeking to cooperate in the fight against terrorism, drug trafficking, international diplomacy, and the fields of trade and technology.

This initiative is designed to consolidate an alliance between countries that share worldviews and values of freedom and democracy. It seeks to deepen cooperation across several areas: combating Iranian terrorism, fighting drug trafficking, coordinating in international forums, tightening trade ties, and promoting collaboration in technology and innovation. Israeli officials estimate that, moving forward, additional countries from the Americas are expected to join this framework.
