The most laughable aspect of all of this is how Repubs like to pretend they aren't equally responsible for wasteful spending. That's assuming anything coming out of the WH is true. And since they already lied about USAID spending that's a lot to assume.

I am with you on that. Many Republicans vote for these incredibly wasteful spending bills. Disgraceful, and failing at their jobs, and ignoring their promises.

Hopefully, much of this wasteful spending continues to be eliminated with the new admin at a rapid pace.

Every billion they save, is over $6 for each taxpayer, on average. DOGE website says current savings are $55B, so that's $366 per taxpayer, so far.

If they hit a target of cutting $1T, that amounts to nearly $7000 savings per taxpayer.

This is not chump change.

Don't be dumb. The fed spends US taxpayer money. Less spending, is savngss for the taxpayer (tax cuts or less debt), and the converse is also true.
