How the fuck could the constitution talk about counting or not counting illegals? They weren't even a fucking country yet, how could ANYONE back then have been illegal?

Once laws were passed that made it illegal to enter the country without proper permission or paperwork, then that, to me, is automatically part of the census. Counting illegals is like counting wild hogs in the count of deer in your area. It will artificially inflate the numbers with animals that you don't give a shit about and give you a false sense of what's out there.

It helps citizens in states like Texas, Calif, etc.... because federal monies appropriated for lots of different govt projects and programs are allocated/allotted, by head count within the State, not citizen count.... If the legal and illegal immigrants were not in the head count, then citizens in that state living in the same communities as the immigrants, would have less of the federal money to fund the projects and programs that include all persons, and not just citizens.

It's the money the States get back from the federal gvt, that they gave the federal gvt, that would be changed.... having nothing to do with the number of congress critters.

And even if the illegals working may not pay federal income taxes, though many may.... it's the income tax that their employer pays, off of the profit they make, off of their immigrant labor, that is increased in the federal tax revenue kitty.

Having about 3 less Congressmen in Texas, and 4 or so less Congressmen in California in the House of Representatives, isn't gonna matter that much... imo.
