The cops didn't announce themselves: Lie.

The cops shot first: Lie.

Taylor was an innocent victim: Half-truth.

It's evident that her boyfriend was a drug dealer, and she was either caught in th crossfire or used as a human shield by said boyfriend.

Much as I detest the insane "war on (some) drugs" and trigger happy cops, I positively loathe assholes who lie out their asses in order to whip up racial division and street violence.

Only one independent, read unknown, witness claimed they heard a knock. all the neighbors claimed otherwise. The cops were lying.

What makes Taylor not innocent? The fact that she's black? That figures from you.

Her boyfriend is a legal gun-owning citizen, with a regular 9-5 and career. Not so much as a speeding ticket. Again, because he's black, he's a criminal to you, right?

Her boyfriend shot first. She was holding drug money for her former boyfriend, and she was standing in her hallway when she was killed. These are facts. The cops may have screwed up with their warrant. I don't know because I don't know the evidence presented to the Grand Jury. However, based on what we know, the warrant may have been justified. if it wasn't then that needs to be looked at hard. If it was reasonable, then her boyfriend started the action that got her killed.

If what you state is true, then why has the family of the victim receieved the BIGGEST settlement over her death in the State's history?

It was the middle of the night and, presumably, people were asleep. It's very possible, in fact likely, that they may not have heard a knock. That's a far cry from being definitive evidence that the police didn't knock, though,, especially since someone says they did hear it...
