There's one place I'd give almost anything short of my soul to have. It's Shelter Island, on Flathead Lake in Montana.

A mansion and a two bedroom guest house. Plenty of boat facilities. An indoor shooting range as well as an outdoor shooting area.

Flathead is famous for the Mackinaw Trout fishing and Flathead cherries, reputed to be the best in the world. I've eaten the Mack and it's unbelievable!

I first saw this when it was for sale several years ago.

I could almost do that. Most of my neighbors are well armed and might do the same.

The nude part might not go over -- kids in the neighborhood.

I'm going with the double-wide.

The subdivision is out. I hate subdivisions, postage stamp lots and HOAs

I have lived in both the country and NYC.

NYC can be great, but you need to get away.

I like the land and some DWs can be very nice these days; more like modular homes.

For me the DW would have to be more like a modular home for me to live there or else it is off to Gotham.

The banks here turned their backs on me , apparently i'm poor white trash not worthy of their time.

So i built out of pocket, lotta dumpster diving on the job.......lived like a gopher with not much more than a hole in the ground .......even water was an issue
