Had they succeeded, Haley would have not even been on the ticket. She was persona non-grata with the democrats and the GOP was certainly not going to replace Trump with her.

But the bumbling democrats failed again; they failed to install Gore after Clinton, they failed to install Harris after Biden, and Biden, well--- who can say what he failed at doing... Biden was never anything more than a shadow presidency with sundry characters in the shadows doing who knows what while Joe sat in the corner mumbling to himself crapping his pants.

She had the second most votes in the Primaries even if she droped out in March and the Primaries in multiple states were already completed. She would have taken all the prior states, plus Super Tuesday from Trump etc. I am certain with so little time left before you election that she would have been anointed the nominee and beaten Harris.

The media was so determined to forget or otherwise cover up the incompetence (or worse) in the incident that almost nobody recognizes the name of the assassin anymore than they recognize the name of the guy who shot senator Scalise in a shooting spree that was designed to take out every republican congressman.

At least Crooks only drove about 80 miles to try to assassinate Trump. As I recall, the guy who shot Scalise drove across country by several states. Lefties be determined.

With the cooperation of the mainstream media we tend to forget about James Hodgkinson who tried to murder every republican congressman practicing for a baseball game and Stephen Paddock who killed about 50 conservatives in a shooting rampage in Vegas directed against a "country concert" that the media (at the time) dubbed as a Trump rally.

When I was in Germany, I was standing next to a woman and we were getting the story of Georg Elser, who narrowly missed assassinating Hitler with a bomb in a beer hall, and this lovely English woman said "and it also makes you wonder how history would have changed if the bullet had of been an inch closer to Trump", which really pissed off a Trump supporter in the group.
