The Many Scandals of Donald Trump: A Cheat Sheet
while many of the Clinton cases involve suspicion and shadowy links, many of Trumpās are fully documented in court cases and legal proceedings.
We will only look at the fines that he's paid and current court cases and investigations. Otherwise, it would go on forever:
Trump paid a $30,000 fine (violating operating rules)
New Jersey also fined Trump $200,000 for arranging to keep black employees away from mafioso Robert LiButtiās gambling table
the Casino Control Commission fined Trumpās company another $450,000
And in 2000, Trump was fined $250,000 for breaking New York state law
Federal Trade Commission fined him $750,000 for failing to disclose his purchases of stock
donation was an illegal one for a charitable nonprofit, and the foundation had to pay a $2,500 fine.
Those are just the fines we know about.
Now we will talk about his upcoming court cases and investigations and why he is being investigated.
He has a lawsuit that is going to court in December about a rape case and could be forced to testify under oath since he is the one accused.
He said he will sue nearly a dozen women who corroborated his story that he assaults women without permission. (and because of his public statements about his unwanted sexual assault activities, it is likely he will be forced to testify)
Trump has a court date on Nov 16 for Fraud and Racketeering related to his Trump University scam.
Students ponied up as much as $35,000āsome after being suckered in by slick free āseminarsāāto learn how to get rich.
changed its name to the āTrump Entrepreneur Initiative,ā because as it happened, the school was violating New York law by operating without an educational license.
New York is suing Trump, alleging the Trump U. bilked students out of $40 million. Heās also the subject of two class-action suits in California.
Trump decided to attack the judge, claiming his ethnicity made him biased. Trump has been widely repudiated across the board, with fellow Republicans openly calling him racist.
The current biggest scandal is the Trump Foundation. Since they were NEVER certified, they have been illegally collecting money from unsuspecting donors and have been given a "cease and desist" order by the Attorney General of New York.
This proves to be quit a mess. People have been giving money to the Foundation and writing it off as a tax break. But now we know it's not a real foundation, the tax breaks are now void. Donors might have to pay that money to the government, leaving Trump open to even more lawsuits.
It's known that Trump has used Foundation donations to pay off lawsuits, buy gifts for himself, pay bribes and as a tax shelter. The Foundation is currently under investigation. It's not a question of whether Trump will have to pay back money, but how much. His taxes will need to be looked at to see how much he claimed as a deduction giving to a fake charity.
In fact, he could be ordered to hand over charity money so that it could be used by a real charity. This could up at tens of millions in fines or even hundreds. It will be known after the completed investigation.
I'm leaving out all the other scandals and court cases Trump has already lost.
Eventually, it will all become public knowledge and the press will have a lot to answer for.
