In the city I grew up in, swearing is an integral part of the language.

"Hey, what the **** are you doing tonight? Do you want to go to the bar, ****?"

I kid you not. My wife came down hard on me when our son was born for cursing all the time. She wasn't going to have people thinking her son came from where I come from!
