Jesus said that if he had not come and spoken to them they would not be guilty of sin. A person must have knowledge of right and wrong before culpability.

The catholic church has determined the age of reason to be 7 years old. Thats why catholics do not receive communion before that. For the power of death consequent to defying the law of God to take effect, for it to be a sin, the child must have reached the age of discernment, knowing right from wrong.. Thats why they spend years forcing children to memorize the ten commandments giving full disclosure about the incorporeal nature of God and the promise of death and hell consequent for disobedience to the divine commands..



Then they make it a perverse celebration for the child to become a confirmed catholic by requiring them to pray on their knees to a matzo made by human hands to join the team,, deliberately defying the law of God they were forced to memorize having already been clearly and openly taught that separation from God, death, and hell are the consequences for idolatry, fully aware that it is a lie that worshiping and eating the lifeless work of human hands is the way to eternal life and paradise.


Old enough to know it is evil but way too young and powerless to resist the deliberate murder of their minds aside from becoming a "problem child", something that most children do not have the character or courage to endure.


By the time they reach adulthood the ability to reason and the beauty of life before the fall is only a vague and distant memory if that......their only comfort, a bizarre and degrading weekly ritual seeking spiritual life from something made by human hands, is not God, and has no life.

Abraham over 4000 years ago reasoned that idols that could be stolen or broken can not save themselves so how could they save those devoted to or holding them? He understood the sun, moon, stars, wind had further processes in creating themselves as do any figure or form or man. So creation can not be defined by things that have further processes in creating it, thus must be defined by Essence (an intangible).
We today understand everything has a process, so we know nothing is supernatural or miraculous, as those are things either not yet understood or figured out, or a trick of selective recognition or human imagination and nature to exaggerate or lie.
In the ancient times, much of what we know the processes of today would have been considered miracles or supernatural to that age they've yet to comprehend or figure out those processes.
That's why Maggis scams(Benny Hinn types) were prohibited, as they deceived people into thinking tricks were miracles or supernatural. Today we ban things like that Jamaican psychic network for the same reason.
So Abraham in the archaic age was smart enough to ask; if your idol can not save himself, then how can he save his followers?
