When we say trump is stifling dissent, this is what we mean.

No, you idiot!!

Those people work for the American people.

So does tRump in case you forgot.
so? How is it they are exempt from discipline or layoffs in your opinion?

we want to stop the politicizing of our government yes!!! fk you demofks who can't accept defeat. Your whine is yours.
In the end, who gives a rat's ass about what the democraps think? They are going to use every occasion to twist into a protest against Trump, and it will never amount to any difference. They spent the last 4 years protesting Trump at every occasion and it resulted in him getting reelected. Today Trump is doing what so many people desperately want: cleaning house in the federal government. The democraps don't like it? Tough. The people don't like the democraps. So, in the grand scheme of things, there is one party that is going strong, and one is circling the drain. Why bother paying attention to the democraps as they are about to be flushed into the sewage system?

Don't be a bigger idiot than normal. If they worked for 'you' then 'you' could go to any government facility and start bossing them around. Even you can't be stupid enough to believe that would ever happen. The government works for us through our elected representatives, both in Congress and the White House. I'd say you need a civics lesson, but I doubt you know what civics means.

Essential to preserving the Republic is a well informed electorate.

Trump and MAGA seek to prevent that. We are only allowed to know what they want us to know.

FEMA Suspends Staff Who Signed a Letter Criticizing Trump

The Federal Emergency Management Agency on Tuesday suspended around 30 employees after those workers wrote to Congress warning that the Trump administration had gutted the nation’s ability to handle hurricanes, floods and other extreme weather disasters.

Of the 182 FEMA employees who signed the letter to Congress, 36 attached their names, while the rest withheld their identities for fear of retaliation.

Those who used their names received emails on Tuesday night saying they had been placed on paid administrative leave “effective immediately, and continuing until further notice,” according to copies of the emails reviewed by The New York Times.

The emails did not provide a reason for the decision. Representatives for FEMA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

I very much hope what happened to these FEMA employees, and what happened to the three star general, Jeffrey Kruse, who wrote a report detailing the damage to Iranian nuclear facilities in contradiction of trump's hyperbolic characterization (it was a lie), does not have the desired effect.

I hope it does not intimidate employees of the government, or any person really, from speaking the truth. The truth being this government's mortal enemy. But I fear it will. I fear intimidation works. When I see law firms and universities acquiescing to threats from trump.......I know it does.

What I don't know is how many people will be silenced for fear of retribution? I don't know how much will we not learn about the inner workings of our government because people are afraid of our government?
FEMA is useless. Time to get rid of the rotten wood.

L.A. wildfire survivors struggling with FEMA applications could benefit from disaster case managers

"Nearly three weeks after the Eaton Fire destroyed their Altadena home, Pete and Angela Mitchell need answers on what to do next.

They registered for FEMA assistance, but got a letter of non-approval."

Add to that LA's refusal to quickly grant permits for rebuild. Democrats always cause misery.

They are so desperate for any chance to stop the Trump Train. They're wasting their time. The Trump Train stops when every democrap operative is purged from the federal government. There will be millions of unemployed leftists looking for jobs and no one is looking to hire toxic woke people who are used to doing nothing except talk bad about their boss.

Hardly, expecting government employees to adhere to their contracts, follow lawful procedures and processes is hardly attempting to prevent anything, other than the lawlessness we've seen here.

The government doesn’t have employees sign NDAs.

The fact you think public disclosure of government policy is a violation of law shows how ashamed you are of this administration.

Am I to believe your defense of Dotard for the unwarranted firings and suspensions of employees of the government for telling the truth to the American people is, "I don't care what Dem's think."

Not that I blame you since trump's actions are indefensible, but geeez. Don't you have more imagination than that? Cuz honestly, that was pathetic.

Then work for the private sector that will value their services oh so much more
So career public servants who may have dedicated a good portion of their professional lives to public service, who likely care very much about their work, are suppose to resign rather than inform the public, and Congress, about how dangerously inept the regime is with respect to the mandate of FEMA?

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

Are you saying there is no process to file any grievances? There is, and sending letters outside of that process is insubordination bordering on sedition.

It’s sad to see how desperate you are to keep information from the public about Trump’s incompetence.

Lives are at stake here.

There is only desperation in the lawless actions of these soon to be unemployed hacks.

Are you suggesting they can’t speak publicly? Bullshit. They can spout off any time they want.
