When we say trump is stifling dissent, this is what we mean.

I think someone must be keeping statistics on government employees. I bet 90% of the federal government is loyal democrats who will do anything to thwart their boss, Trump.
I bet you're wrong.

They are contradicting their boss, the elected President, on policy he is within his Constitutional rights to implement.

It implies they won't enact the policies because they have gone public in disagreeing with them.

There is no "right" to a civil service job.

Fire em all.
They’re civil servants which means that they work for us.

The fact that you forgot this shows that you’re believe in an authoritarian government.

I bet you're wrong.
show us stats then. NPR already told us they had no conservatives working for them. That's one, give me one that has conservatives.

They’re civil servants which means that they work for us.
no, it means they work for america, not anyone person, they have no voice, they are to be impartial. You remain lost as always.
The fact that you forgot this shows that you’re believe in an authoritarian government.
seems that's irony

They work for the federal executive branch, which the President leads. They work for him, HE works for us, because we elected him.

All of their power flows from the only elected member of the Branch with any executive power, the President.

I bet you're wrong.
Well, don't forget, if you don't loudly proclaim your obedience to the Great Leader, you must be an evil commie. It's one or the other.

That's okay. Trump is installing his own Deep State now, and the rest know to keep their damn mouths shut. Even if they don't care about politics.

Sure they fear layoffs like everyone else but the federal government isn't an employment agency. Office drones that do not have a viable workload can be dismissed despite petitions that are worded to threaten the American public and demean the President. Get used to it.

Trump is middle management. Their responsibilities are to us, not to Trump. We have a right to know if Trump is ******* everything up.

But you wouldn't understand that because you're kind of fascist.

Trump is the only required and permanent part of the Executive Branch as per the Constitution. Trump is the only management for the executive branch.

You want a bureaucracy that has more power than the person elected by the people. That makes you the fascist, you dumb ****.

You keep saying that as if you have proven, for example, that Gen. Kruse's report or the report on Venezuelan gangs were written in violation of law. Or for that matter the FEMA employee's letter to Congress. If they broke the law why not prosecute them?

Wait, wait, I know. Because they didn't break any laws.
They are being fired. If charges are appropriate they will be filed.

Last time I checked, Trump isn't permanent at all. The only thing in the Constitution that is permanent is that the public holds the power.

You want the politicians to be able to censor our civil servants to keep information away from us.

What are you afraid of? Afraid that we will see how corrupt and incompetent Trump is? Makes sense.

The position of the President then. Even the Vice President has no role in the executive while Vice President.

The publics power is to vote for the EC that chooses the President. They have ZERO power over the civil servants or even the President once the election is finished.

Are you so stupid that you don't understand how our government actually works?

Citizens choose the president, which means we have a vested interest to understand what they're doing.

The fact that you're arguing so strongly in favor of the citizens being kept from understanding what Trump is doing with our government is telling. The guy who goes off on censorship is here desperately trying to defend it.

You guys are scared shitless that we will find out how these corrupt and incompetent assholes operate.

That doesn't give the supposedly apolitical civil servants the ability to decide they don't like the policies of the elected President.

Says the guy who wants Twitter to ban anything he doesn't like.

Twitter is a private company. I'm not in charge of how they use their resources.

The government belongs to all of us.

Why don't civil servants get to decide if they like the policies of the president? Seems to be that's exactly what they should be doing.

Of course you don't like that because you don't want the public to know what Trump is doing. That's because you're ashamed of your authoritarian and incompetent assholes.

Back to that old dodge again.

The people voted Trump into office.

Because civil servants are unelected and have no authority other than that given to them by the sitting President?

Everyone knows what Trump is doing. He tells everyone what he is doing, and the press for once reports on everything he does.

Slanted biased bullshit reporting, but reporting never the less.

Trump is a ******* liar and I doubt he really has all that much knowledge of what he's actually doing. They're keeping his old ass occupied with decorating the Oval Office and building renovations.

And even if he did know what he was doing, no one actually believes most of the shit he's saying. If everyone knew what they were doing, you wouldn't be so scared about civil servants spilling the beans. It wouldn't matter. But you are scared. You're terrified.

I can tell why you want to suppress information from this administration. You're afraid that people will learn how ******* terrible these guys are.
