But the Sandy Hook guy, and the Mandalay Bay/concert in Vegas shooter, Pulse night club shooter etc etc etc could all get their semi automatic weapons to mass kill as well....

so, banning them makes sense to them....or restricting them thru tougher gun laws makes sense to them...

School shootings are extremely rare. It's always incredibly sad when any sort of shooting occurs, but it amazes me that fear of school shootings is driving policy. Calls to ban bump stocks, raise the age limit, ban "semi-automatic rifles", etc, etc.. are everywhere now. I don't understand why so many people, particularly many on the left, are making this out to be some sort of epidemic.
One simply has to look at the statistics to see why this fear is misguided.
There's a higher chance that a kid will be killed traveling to or from school than in a school shooting. Why aren't those so outraged about school shootings looking for ways to decrease the mortality rate from this? There's other risks that have a higher chance of killing a kid in school than school shootings, such as catching a deadly disease in school or possibly getting a life threatening injury while playing a sport. The fear and the driving of policy as a result of this fear blows my mind.

These kids have no reason to be scared. One simply has to look at the statistics. I can't blame them for thinking it's a massive problem that needs to be addressed, the evil of a school shooting drives up all sorts of emotions, just like the murder of police officers or african americans/etc also drives up emotions, leading to irrational beliefs.

We all know for sure that the FBI along with really every other government AGENCY, are all left leaning. We also know for a FACT that the FBI along with other government agencies ignored at least FORTY SEVEN documented warnings.

You have to ask why that is. What, are there a lot of these warnings? Maybe there are. What we do know is this has nothing to do with law abiding GUN OWNERS in this country. Which, is code for WHITE AMERICAN CHRISTIAN CAPITALISTS to the left leaning world.

Why and how in less than a week of the incident was the BB&T center rented out and hosted by CNN who was caught preparing questions for students along with many others. Parents of victims and hoping someone on the right would attack one of them.

Hell, we still have a whole lot of unanswered questions about that Vegas shooting. A lot weird things about that too. All kinds of contradicting reports, and that went away quite fast didn't it?
