Other places become more attractive as the US becomes less attractive. As the US changes and (for example) has a system in which an insurrectionist former President walks free, that undermines any claim that it is a society based on law and order and integrity and fairness.

A law abiding black military man can be shot in his own home by the police but an insurrectionist cheating lying conman walks Scott free? No, that ain't right.

The US is unaffordable for many retirees who need medical care and treatment, when a person is in their 60s with a wife who has a chronic illness and her own country cannot help her, one will go somewhere where they will.

20,000 people a year die in the US because they cannot afford medical bills, how is that the world's greatest country? I believed it was all my life but after 2020 that changed forever.

Understand, as an immigrant I have the greatest respect for the country's laws and customs but when I see them being flaunted as they were by Trump and millions of people defending that conduct, it's a kind of shock, kind of a wake up call that it's all a sham.

I'll finish here, but can anyone understand? Trump's conduct has - for me as an immigrant - destroyed the concept of the "American dream" he has destroyed the meaning that it once had for me.

I came here with huge enthusiasm to participate and be a decent honest citizen and truly believed there was a hard solid core of decency and sincerity at the root of this country.

I was wrong, it is really no better than anywhere else other than some material benefits. Most immigrants I know were almost heartbroken at how the Trump 2020 lies have unfolded here, utterly exposing the hypocrisy that I had believed wasn't there.

People here whine about illegal aliens, law breakers yet defend a law breaker like Trump? it is frankly sickening hypocrisy and I am no longer fooled. If people truly cared for law and order they would never apply it selectively as they have.

Trump is a criminal and should stand trial for his vote manipulation in Georgia, if that isn't done then what business do any of you have condemning illegal aliens?
