The Grand Jury system was a great idea, but in practice it has turned into nothing more than a rubber stamp for prosecutors. For a grand jury to refuse to hand down an indictment a prosecutor wants is so rare that it makes new, even for an otherwise non-newsworthy case. I haven't heard of it happening in years.

Also, they say when all the illegals are gone, American companies who've been hiring them are going to be looking for help. And they're going to have to pay Americans more than they've been paying illegals.

Honestly, the Feds raised interest rates to fix inflation. Perhaps small business' are going to need tax breaks to compensate for the wage increase that they must pay in order to attract workers. I don't believe any of this is going to happen. But that's the theory. I say if too many illegals go and we can't find workers, they're going to give those same people who've already been here before an easy pass on coming back. Perhaps if a small business sponsors them and can show they can't find any Americans to do the job.
