Red State reports on the ongoing feud between current G.O.P. front-runner, Ted Cruz, WSJ/NBC Poll: Ted Cruz Overtakes Donald Trump Among Republicans and Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has his entire life been a business man, and one who has regularly employed tactics and methods that are shady such as bullying, bribes (payoffs/buyouts) and backroom deals, he prides himself in being a deal maker. Until spring of 2015 Trump was a Liberal...then Bill Clinton comes to call and they talk, plan, and "Wah-la!" Trump is now a Conservative and running for President as a Republican.
On the other side is Ted Cruz. Who in middle school memorised The Constitution, was brought up in a Christian and Conservative pastor's home, who argued nine times before the Supreme Court and won five times. Ted Cruz has always been a Constitutional-Conservative, and has been a solid Christian and family man that always stood solidly, sometimes alone, for Conservative principles and values.
Now these two are running for the same office, President of The United States of America.
Cruz has a multi-point PLAN based on and rooted in Conservative Principles that he has lived and defended- not just talking points. Trump has nothing but talking points, bravado, ego, a big (foul) mouth, and a bad temper.
Cruz has never wavered on Constitutional Principles ever.
Trump has only thinly veiled talking points, and shows NO understanding of The Constitution at all.

So these two diametrically opposed polar opposites are now in a Trump induced feud. Trump attacks- Cruz responds with facts and evidence and principle hoping to move on...which Trump has not let happen, which brings us to the Red State article-

As reported earlier today, Ted Cruz held a press conference today to speak about the cease and desist letter he received from Donald Trump’s lawyers demanding he stop running ads depicting Trump as “pro-choice.”

Well, Cruz made sure he got the last laugh, and then some. He distributed copies of his camp’s epic response to Donald Trump at his press conference.

So, not only did Cruz NOT entertain Trump’s asinine request, not only did he provide copies of the hilarious letter from Trump’s attorney, Cruz then handed him his a** in a response and again provided press copies for the amusement of the masses.

And that would have been enough to win the round, but Cruz didn’t stop there. Just to add insult to injury, Cruz distributed one more handout to the press. It was simple, but so genius.

It began with Trump questioning Ted Cruz's Christian faith saying "Not many evangelical Christians come out of Cuba".
Then Trump jumps on the Brither issue, which both he and his campaign manager had said months earlier that Cruz IS indeed a Natural Born Citizen and IS eligible to be President.
Then Trump lied about Cruz being a "cheat and liar" during the Iowa Caucus, (falsely) claiming that Ted Cruz or Cruz's campaign had spread lies about Carson dropping out...when it was CNN that fifteen minutes BEFORE the voting started was already speculating on Carson dropping out (Carson's New Hampshire team quit and joined Cruz) and then with an hour and a half left CNN then does announce that Carson IS dropping out, and then confirms it via Jake Tapper. The time-line is clear. Everyone watching who can read and tell time knows that CNN had been the ones talking about this the whole night, and when CNN then "confirmed" it...THEN Cruz's campaign, and Rubio's campaign seize the opportunity to ask Carson supporters to come support them. Carson and Trump LIED about this, and are LYING about this. Maybe for different reasons, but Trump and Carson BOTH are ignoring facts and reality and are deliberately telling a lie.

Now Trump is threatening to sue Cruz because Ted Cruz is using video of Trump's own words against him in a political campaign...can you say "Childish, churlish and frivolous"?
THIS is who Trump is. A angry, selfish, mean and nasty liar and bully...and a LIBERAL.

THAT is NOT who I want anywhere near the White House.

But you are perfectly OK with Cruz's dirty politics in Iowa. Cruz is a snake.

What many of you fail to realize is that there are NO Christians in Politics. Ben Carson may be one but he is not a politician. Christians will vote exactly as everyone else will vote except possibly on the issue of abortion. Planned Parenthood's endorsement of Hillary will hurt her among Christians. Christians will vote along economic and national defense issues and what they perceive as being the best for the country.

Well, Reverend. it is interesting that you know of the tactics Trump used in his deal making. Were you there? Is there some link that would corroborate what you say? You are coming from a position of religious values and our nation is more than that. It has a position on the world that requires finesse and a talent for deal making.
Our country is in dire need for someone with those talents whether it be Trump or someone else.
Ted Cruz did lie and performed a dirty trick on Carson. I was watching CNN and never heard them say that Carson quit the race. I believe Carson when he said the correction from the campaign came in one minute but Cruz never corrected the false information he came out with. At the same time, a mailer from his campaign went out declaring it was "Official business" telling voters they were going to be watched and neighbors would know if they voted or not. How scurrilous was that? I don''t know who I am going to vote for, but I do know it won't be Cruz!

A New York developer making political contributions to New York politicians is not exactly a big deal. However, it does call into question his "conservative" credentials. On the other hand, he would probably be more effective in negotiating with Democrats if they retake the Senate.

What contributions would not call his "conservative credentials" into question? Ones made to Alaskan politicians? Some other jurisdiction's politicians?

What is it exactly about a "New York [real estate] developer making political contributions to New York Candidates" that inherently calls into question the developer's "conservative" credentials?

By "credentials" I was referring to a history of taking public policy positions. Any developer who wants to do business in New York City would be well advised against making public statements opposing abortion, welfare, bailouts, etc. (i.e., "conservative" positions).
