Nazi Propaganda

I have posted a link which explains quite clearly how the Nazis used propaganda to set an agenda for the extermination of Jewish people in the 30s.

Nazi propaganda was not particularly sophisticated and in fact was rather crude. Still,it did its purpose and the German people, enough of them, was persuaded that Jews were sub human and in fact a threat to the German aryan race.

Less than a century later and we can see the same tactics used to demonise another religious group. Muslims are the target today. Wicked people are using crude propaganda to turn the masses against these people .

Of course it helps if you can present them as sub human. So the stories use isolated examples in order to slander a whole religion.

Muslims raped somebody somewhere. Therefore ALL muslims are rapists. And to back it up you can point to some obscure passage in the Koran. As with the bible there are some nutty passages in the Koran.

Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man intimately. But all the girls who have not known man intimately, spare for yourselves.

Its pretty sick stuff but it was written a long time ago and is no longer relevant.

But those with an agenda, to spread hate, pick up on this sort of crap and use it to condemn several thousand people.

There are people who post on here who think that all muslims are rapists (nonsense) there is an invasion of Europe (yeah right – from people we have been bombing) and that as a result nobody in Europe is safe. Its just bollox of the worst kind. This year I, and my family and friends, have been to ,Spain,France,Belgium,Holland,Latvia,Germany,Bosnia,Turkey, Czech Republic, Hungary,Poland,Iceland and Croatia without any incidents at all.

I am not saying that things are perfect. When there is any mass movement of people there will be some problems. Anybody who points this out is vilified as a rape apologist, mainly by people who civilisation has left behind.

But it is absurd that there is more discussion about made up rape stories than why these people are over here in the first place. Why would that be the case ?

Goebbels would be a proud man today.

Fear is the key. Goebbels used fear on people that were easily made afraid. Make people afraid and its easy to get them to hate the thing they are afraid of. And you are right, it works on the uneducated and most gullible of society. Witness trump's followers.

As the Nazi's slowly showed their true colors people with any money and means got the hell out of the country because they saw what was coming.

A Canadian town has now offered to take in any US citizens that want to flee the US if trump is elected.

Learning from history is the most important skill for any student.

I have seen it used on a few occasions. More frequently there is no attempt to distinguish between extremists/criminals and the vast majority of decent folk. You can already see evidence of it on this thread.

My estimate is there are about 5% of Muslims who will do harm to others. About 25% more who actively support these terrorists. The issue that I really have is the other 60% who offer silent acquiescence. These are the "we disapprove of their methods, but share their goals" majority. Oh, and the democrats are just like that 60%. democrats won't usually fund ISIS, but understand why they act out against the running dog Christians.

And it is the conservatives in every country that use these techniques because in all populations the tendency is to move towards a more liberated mindset, one less about self and selfishness and more about the well being of the entire population. The hardcore conservatives always view this as change they cannot accept because they never get past the animalistic selfishness. Witness the hardcore religious conservatives in the middle east. They mimic the beliefs and tendencies that hardcore cons do here and everywhere else.

I think that you misunderstand me. I have no problem in condemning Al Quaeda/Isis or any other extremist group.
I do not know anybody who does.
My problem is that there are people who transfer that condemnation to the vast bulk of muslims who have done nothing wrong at all.
