The Democrats flipped 12 Republican held state house seats in Virginia. Every county in Virginia shifted towards the Democrats, even the deep red ones. They flipped two statewide commissioner seats in Georgia. They ran the gambit on every judicial race in Pennsylvania.

This has nothing to do with "blue states."

We buy whole bean coffee at Sprout's as we like to have ours freshly ground in the morning. A few months ago it was $12.99 for a one pound bag. When I went last week to get a new bag it was $18.99. This is what people are seeing and MAGA keeps thinking the anemic reduction in gas is an achievement.

It takes years to turn a bad economy around. By the end of Trumps term, the economy will be cooking. The Trump admin did as much as they could early, knowing that it will take a couple years to kick in. If we are lucky, it will be cooking by the midterms. That has been their plan from day 1.

I'm not sure why you find it "astonishing". it's the mid term. Virginia historically is a blue state, not surprising on the outcome.
Pa. didn't flip any judicial race, the incumbents prevailed.
Georgia state commissioner seats? meh.....

The biggest take away that I saw, was a communist winning the Mayoral race in the largest city in the US.
Not sure how that will reconcile with moderate democrats nationally.
