What You Saw Tonight Was the Trump Effect

You lunatics have lost the ability for rational thought and cannot tell the difference between incitement and criticism.

That’s why you imprisoned a man for a month for no reason.

How are you this ignorant of what Trump was charged with? It can’t be an accident. It must be intentional.

Stop lying.
Interesting. How many times have the media and Democrats blamed Trump for inciting violence when it was criticism?

Republicans felt the wrath tonight of voters rejecting Trump's agenda. The biggest issue for voters was the economy, with half listing it as their number one focus. Almost a year into his second term Trump has failed to deliver on the economy as food and energy prices continue to rise and 60% of voters disapprove of his handling. Republicans have lost their gains with Latino voters. In New Jersey, 64% went for Sherrill citing the economy and his handling of immigration has their largest concerns. Trump almost won New Jersey in last year's election largely due to the swing of Latino voters to the GOP. Gen Z voters also did a 180 and overwhelmingly backed the Democratic candidates after backing Trump last year. Overall, only 37% of voters approve of the job he is doing.

These numbers are abysmal and it's the only way a man like Jay Jones can get elected to the top law enforcement office in the state, despite his sociopathic comments about his opponents' children being publicly leaked. It's not just "blue state" statewide offices either. Down ballot, Republicans have lost 11 seats in the Virginia House Delegates, taking the Democrats' 51-49 majority to 62-38. In Georgia, Democrats defeated Republican incumbents in statewide races for Public Service Commissioner. In Pennsylvania, they are sweeping judicial races across the board.

MAGA appears to be repeating the same errors of the 2018 midterm election cycle, denying that Trump is an albatross around their necks by not delivering what the people want. They went on to lose 41 House seats that year.
What you'll see in the next couple of months is the New Youker Bail Out Effect, in a few months the Mamdani Effect.

Did you hear the N.Y. Islamist Socialist say that “there is no problem that government can’t solve”? OMG. Reagan is rolling over in his grave.

Government IS the problem.

Mamdani’s rent-freeze idea will likely just cause renters to withhold inventory, as they’ve done in the past, making the “affordability” problem worse.

Maybe he eventually sets up a government-run grocery store or two, no doubt to great fanfare.

The clearest change for the Big Apple that will almost certainly happen under Mamdani is a deterioration of the small gains in law and order the city has experienced in the last year. Police deployments to crime hotspots in the city are likely to decline. Many long-time NYPD officers will almost certainly leave the force.

The wins of Mamdani and Jones, in particular, Jennings called a “terrible” image for the Democratic Party — one he warned would come back to haunt them. “You own this now,” he said bluntly.

Jennings’ warning began with Mamdani’s win, when he issued this message to Chuck Schumer: “AOC is going to be the next senator from New York.”

“I see the energy in Virginia Democrats looking the other way on a violent candidate for attorney general who says he wants to murder Republicans and their children. If you think you’re getting rid of Graham Platner in Maine now, think again. This is a terrible night for the national Democratic image given what is happening inside their party.”

Jennings continued: “Mamdani is an avowed socialist. It’s not what people say that he is. It’s what he says that he is. He’s now the leader of their party. That’s their energy and Chuck Schumer’s —”

Anderson Cooper cut in, mocking the idea: “[Mamdani’s] the leader of the Democratic Party?”

“Who is the leader? Can someone tell me?” Jennings shot back.

“He’s a life raft for Republicans who have to go on TV and get their asses kicked,” David Axelrod responded with a big smile.

Even as the panel laughed him off, Jennings doubled down on his warning about Mamdani and Jones: “You own this now. You all own this now.”

What we saw tonight was the stupid effect, people who think free stuff doesn't cost anyone, anything, the dumbing down by public school effect if you will

Really... Has happened in many places around the world... Nobody withheld inventory...
Do you seriously think and Landlord isn't going to rent a property in NYC? You seriously don't know how that market works..
Maybe he eventually sets up a government-run grocery store or two, no doubt to great fanfare.
I say he will set up a few... But I would recommend that he help set up farmers markets within NYC, especially around logistics...

Take out the middle men and have farmers and small farmer co-ops sells straight to customers, especially on weekends... Smaller Farmers, not Agribusiness set ups... Would be great for integrate people from Rural and Urban..

Mandami has been clear, he is not about defunding the police but get them back focused on peace and order... Things like Mental Health has to be treated, untreated the Police have to deal with it...
He isn't picking this off the wind, this is how Europe works and they have crime at fractions of US..

Blue states. This is like jumping from a first-story window and surviving.
Enjoy your small victories. The country hates Democrats. They will lose in the midterms.
37% Trump approval. Trump is an utterly corrupt lame duck and he is going to take down his cult party with him.
