Did it turn out to be true? Nope.
This would be the latest instance in which a shooter left messages on ammunition and weapons.

"One engraving read, “Hey fascist! Catch! ↑ → ↓↓↓,” a seeming reference, at least in part, to a
video game that's been interpreted as a satire of fascism."
"The writing appears to be a reference to a meme about the online furry subculture and online role-play, said Jamie Cohen, an assistant professor of media studies at Queens College who researches memes. The meme has largely been used as a method of mockery and trolling, though its relevance to Kirk or the shooting is unclear."
Right now, it appears he liked playing Helldivers 2
And from what you've read??? Any evidence, or just "what you read"?
Of course there are left wing politicians and websites stoking violence, just like there are right wing politicians and websites stoking violence.
The whole US political system with two political parties trying to eek out small advantages to win power by promoting negative messages is a tinder box. The US is heading to a very dark place unless this stops, and it doesn't stop until people change the way politicians are elected.
This message board is part of the problem, the people who come on here, no interest in reality, no interest in debate, just attacking the other side with insults and whatever scraps they can pick up.
As soon as this killing happened, there were people looking to capitalize on it, looking to blame the other side. The left say he's MAGA, the right say he's far-left. Neither of them know what this kid was, and the reality is he was probably just a kid who had a gun, was angry with the world, was a little messed up and was probably influence by BOTH SIDES, both sides who enjoy the attacks on each other.
Change to Proportional Representation and maybe more sensible politics will come out. Until then, we just wait for the next shooting.
