What to do with the $800 billion the illegal aliens send home?

Much of that money is from drug sales, sales of shoplifted merchandise, profits from human trafficking and street crime. That the money is automatically assumed to be from American employers is downright disgusting.

Yes, you read that right - the illegals, while costing us $150 billion a year, send home $800 billion a year. How should Trump use this to America’s benefit?

Option 1) Tax the remittances by 25%, thereby recapturing the fortune the illegals cost America taxpayers and use it to offset their costs

Option 2) Tax the remittances by 50%, thereby recapturing the fortune we spend on them AND using the balance to secure the border and pay for deportations of criminal aliens

Option 3) Block remittances entirely, which will hurt the originating country and pressure them to take back the illegals (as some countries have said they won’t), and use the money for border security, deportations, and more

Paying a psychiatrist for deluded folks like yourself. Although I think your therapy bill alone would be more than $800B

Employ an illegal immigrant in the UK, you will get fined upto £60,000 per worker

It's illegal to hire them here, but few ever get prosecuted for it.

. To remove that attraction, the government would have to get tough not on migrants but on those who hire them. But that is a tad too tough, it seems, for most immigration hawks. According to a recent study, the Justice Department prosecuted only 11 employers in the entire nation last year. With Pew Research Center estimating that about 11 million undocumented persons are living and working in the United States, the Justice Department is prosecuting at a rate of just one employer for every one million undocumented persons.

Immigration, it seems, is an offense committed solely by undocumented persons. While the president has charged that undocumented workers take away jobs from citizens, neither political party appears eager to deal with those employers who give away those jobs, despite undocumented persons making up an estimated 5 percent of the workforce. In California, Nevada, and Texas, they make up almost 10 percent of the workforce.

Toughness does not extend to those who benefit most from unlawful hiring. There are no federal agents being asked to get “a little rough” with corporate executives. On paper, federal law is clear and tough. It is illegal to hire, recruit, or refer illegal immigrants for hire. It also is illegal to fail to verify work authorization. Knowledge of unlawful hiring can be inferred from the lack of proof or from suspicious job applications.

Moreover, the laws are based on the assumption of enforcement actions that ratchet up punishment to deter repeat offenders. The penalty for every illegal worker rises from $2,000 to as much as $10,000 by the third offense. Knowingly hiring illegal workers can result in six months of jail, while “harboring” such workers can result in up to 10 years in prison. Yet, if there is little enforcement, then the hiring of undocumented persons remains not just a cost of doing business but a small cost in general.

When you look at the deployment of prosecutorial resources by the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security, it's clear they are more worried about the undocumented housekeeper than they are about the unscrupulous employer," Noorani said.

The Consitution doesnt apply to non US citizens. :cuckoo:
That is correct. Illegal aliens are not entitled to counsel nor can they request a jury trial. Immigration is a civil procedure under the purview of the Executive Branch. The Attorney General is in charge of it.

We don't accept or support illegals, we do accept giving asylum seekers a chance in court to be accepted as asylum seekers...which is LEGAL under immigration law....even though y'all lie and call them illegals.
That's just stupid.

They're not asylum seekers, they're here for MONEY.

=> OUR <= money, which they want a part of.

Their wages can go to Americans who will do the work.

What Americans would that be? You have an unemployment rate of 4.2%. You have 7 million unemployed people in the USA, and 7.7 million job openings.

You have more jobs than you have people to fill them, and you're talking about taking another 6 million people out of the workforce and deporting them. There aren't any Americans waiting to take their jobs.

Illegal immigrants who have been in the country for 2 years are to the same legal protections in the justice system, as an American citizen. It's in your Constitution.

"The issue of due process is often at the forefront of debates surrounding immigration law. Due process is the legal principle that ensures that everyone is given a fair and impartial hearing before the government takes away their life, liberty, or property.

This right is guaranteed by the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments of the Constitution. Undocumented immigrants have the right to be informed of the charges against them, the right to an attorney, and the right to present evidence in their defense."

It used to be £20,000 per illegal hired. Even raids on a pub and takeaway happened 30 miles from me. The fines was that heavy, the businesses shut down, went bust.

Landlords are fined £3,000 per illegal. Personally, I would fine the landlord £60,000, compulsory purchase the property for £1 and auction it off at market value.

Lib hysteria is almost that bad

You folks cling to the belief that crushing the employers is the answer

Or at least you pretend to think thats the answer
That’s because they want to blame businesses rather than acknowledge the fault lies with the illegals exploiting our laws.

The truth is that if businesses put up more barriers, the libs would yell “waaacist!” That’s exactly what happened when a store in a black area of DC put up bars across the door and windows to stop the theft: the lib loons yelled racism.

Also, 85% of these “asylum seekers” have bogus claims, and they cost us a fortune. The biggrst harm is to the working class. The invaders are driving up rents, suppressing wages, lowering property values of their modest ranch homes, and ruining the public schools.

But as usual, the libs put the interests of foreign scofflaws ahead of decent Americans.

That also explains how they are able to send home $800 billion.

They come for the jobs
Businesses stop offering work, they go home.

Put owners of businesses that exploit illegal work in jail and those jobs will end tomorrow

This is why everyone considers you to be such an asshole.
You whine daily about bigotry against Jews then post shit like this

In Canada, you must have a copy of every employee's Social Insurance Card in your employment files, made from the original card, or face a fine of $5000 per employee.

If you submit withholding for an employee whose name or number do not match their records, Revenue Canada will follow up and FAST.

I know how this works because I lost my wallet, SIN card, and ID, not long after I changed jobs, and had no birth certificate with which to obtain a replacement card. I had just gotten married so my employer submitted by withholding under my new name and the next thing I knew I was being called into personel. They helped me get my replacement ID, but I was very close to being fired for this.

If it were up to me I would charge the employers with labor racketeering and sentence them to a few years of jail time, then fine the shareholders for profiting from illegal enterprises; as owners they share in the criminal proceeds.

The topic is not about foreigners, is it?

The topic is about migrantgs sending money out of the country.

If Trump is importing foreign labor for his business, wanna bet they are sending money out of the country?
