You are conflating Judaism and the laws given to all of Israel by God through Moses. Judaism didn't appear until the Jews returned from the Babylonian captivity. Also, the Law was given to Israel, not to the Gentiles. The Gentile converts were told to abstain from eating blood and eating animals that had been strangled.
