Hi from Ukraine. The most probable scenario is the seizure of power by the representatives of law enforcement agencies, as head of the FSB - Patrushev, the head of the investigative committee - Bortnikov, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and others.
Couple days ago Bortnikov flew to the United States and about something negotiated.
On the Putin side only Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya (who probably has orginazed the kill of Nemtsov by order of Putin). But Kadyrov in 11 of March has a meet with Patrushev and (as said in some sources) admitted defeat.
The open question is what coup organizers want? 2 versions: or stop the war with Ukraine and the lifting of sanctions from West (Bortnikov's visit to US speaks in favor of this version), becouse all of them have money in western banks real estate in the West. Or they want a big war. I hope it's the first version.
But the fact that it is coup, it is 99%.

Now everybody in Ukraine and Russia wait Monday, when (according to rumors) should be a press conference at which will announce what happened with Putin and who continue to lead the country. Also in Monday will be the anniversary of the annexation of the Crimea and the great show at Red Square. Its announced that Putin will be there... will see

On the first scenario, it is possible there are economic factors that have Russia on edge and the blame is on Putin because nothing has been done.
Russia's once booming economy has been slowed by slumping oil prices. The ruble has taken a nose dive vs other currencies. Russians are again scrambling for hard currency. In fact the US Doll=lar has been surging vs major currencies even after Putin some months ago ordered Russian banks to sell off their US Dollars. This was an economic attck on the US which was more like a gnat bite.
I can see the owners of the major Russian oil firms as very angry with Putin right now.
I also think Russians have had enough with his get tough with the west routine....Russian business people cannot be so naive as to think they can operate independently without trade with the rest of the world and especially Western Europe and the US.

And if he is dead, they will be very, very sad.

The Democrats are now in love with the Iranian Ayatollah now that he agrees with Obama on the open letter Republicans sent to him. You have your friends, we have ours, although the only thing admirable about Putin is he is definitely in charge and when he draws a red line, he means it.
