What should be the primary trait in the next president? In my opinion it's as it always has been, courage. Like or lump Trump, he has courage.

This to me is the key personality trait a man (or woman) must have when facing down the challenges the West currently must address.

So when I hear named bandied about I must first ask "does this person have courage"?

Biden actually had a bit of courage in him, even if it was undiplomatic when he called Putin a thug and Xi a thug on separate incidents, I can respect him for expressing himself and indirectly supporting Western values as historically driven by America. I agreed with him keeping Trumps tariffs on China, his folies were allowing an open border and the signing of the I.R.A (along with re-entering the Paris Accord which hurts the middle class of the West).

Regardless, at least he showed a pulse from time to time. I can disagree with a man be it Tucker Carlson, Netanyahu, Zelensky or some far left radical, but if they show some courage in their conviction (and allow others to debate), I will give them the time of day. If they face the fire I can't fault them for having heart and commitment.

Trump at his peak though was the most courageous in our lifetime. He didn't exactly have the "tear down this wall moment", but he came close with his U.N speeches and calling out leaders right to their faces. Who can forget showing a video to African leaders at the Whitehouse? Surviving an assassination and telling his supporters to "fight" will be remembered long after his term ends.

Thus, whoever you choose in 3 years must have courage. We don't need diplomacy. We need straight talk and courage.

Now, you can run down a list in your own minds of who might fit that definition.
He dodged the draft with fake bone spurs and still played sports. He’s a coward. Funny, courage. This has to be the quickest self own OP ever.

To this day liberals still complain about Nam. Illegal war, unjustified police action, bu-bu-but you avoided that?

Pick a lane.

Presidential Trait: The courage to demonstrate empathy and love when all that sells is demonization and hate.

Deflection. Donald Trump is a draft dodger who claimed STDs was his Vietnam.

My dad was drafted and served. His dad wasnt wealthy, he was a 1st generation immigrant factory worker who couldn’t, or wouldn’t, buy his son out of service.

How do you get a nickname of “TACO” Trump Always Chickens Out if you are courageous?

When challenged with a tough question

Go ahead.

courage would be standing up and defending your position with evidence.

Lower federal income tax rates yields more Mother government revenue. For my evidence I offer Treasury.gov

You're gonna have to dig a little.

Cowardice is looking at your challenger and stating phrases like, you are a stupid person, Quiet Piggy.

Well, the morons in this thread have yet to say such things to me. Lord knows they've had their chance.

Which one is trump?

We all know Baby Jesus says stupid $h!t all the time. Then Europe folds on tariffs and NATO suddenly promises 5% GDP spending on their military.

Gosh, makes you wonder what's in those Epstein files.

Courage! Huh! Trump is a draft dodger and a convicted rapist - is that your idea of courage? If so you are one sad person.

My observation is many many people vote based on personality. I was talking with a co-worker about Harris. She said to me, "I like Harris." I asked what he like about Harris, but she could not come up with a single thing.

But I agree about courage. For the life of me, I can't figure out why 2nd term presidents don't really go to town. You are not running for re-election any more, so do those crazy things you talked about your whole life. Shake some things up. What's the worst that could happen to you? (Well, maybe getting shot. lol.)

Karen McKaren (formerly Ken McKaren) and you did a bunch of shrooms and told all your friends on Reddit after walking thought the drive-thru at Taco Bell...

You: "I have the greatest idea ever. After we blow each other we'll come up with an acronym for Baby Jesus."

Karen: "Where's my taco?"

You: "Perfect."

-

Aw come on now. That's at least twice.

If that was true Democrats would love him ..

That's a problem.

That's a shame. No "unburdened by what has come before?"

I guess slogans don't have the power I thought they did.

But I agree about courage. For the life of me, I can't figure out why 2nd term presidents don't really go to town.

Baby Jesus isn't? Due to "The Big, Beautiful Law the Baby Jesus tax cuts are forever and ever, Amen.

Good luck future communists on gettin that repealed while looking the American people in the eye and going "this is what's good for you, you're just too stupid to know it."

You are not running for re-election any more, so do those crazy things you talked about your whole life.

Tariffs. (Ahem) That is a fee to access the American economy.

Shake some things up.

Like Fordow?

What's the worst that could happen to you?

An opportunity to ham it up for a mug shot.

(Well, maybe getting shot. lol.)

Pfft.

Clinton and Joe are draft dodgers. And you guys want infants, toddlers and young children to be molested. And they are from your agendas.

That's a problem.

Clinton and Joe are draft dodgers.

If any man can get outta war with a slim excuse why they can't be a Mighty Warrior that's the sign of man that doubts their combat powers.

While I understand that I don't have that issue. I was done with The Mighty US of A Army basic when I was 17.

Lot of brave fu(ks out there, lot of not so brave. I don't have much of a problem with not so brave men. They can always rivet, like Rosie.

War is about freedom. If folks didn't care about subjugation we'd all be muslims. Or Nazis. Or liberals.

Slowbama, the half-breed stuttering muslim AND SlowJoeBiden?

If that were the case then America would run the world table.
America does run the world, but it looks like this is coming to an end.
