What should be the primary trait in the next president? In my opinion it's as it always has been, courage. Like or lump Trump, he has courage.

Regardless of what you have been fed and swallowed, over 7 million more Americans voted for Biden, and he won 306 electoral votes vs Trump's 232. That is the official, certified result. No audits, recounts, investigations, or court challenges found otherwise, and no litigation is pending. All challenges fizzled.

If Trump and any of his lickspittles can't handle the truth, that is unfortunate, but no amount of explanation can now result in their respecting it..

You can count fraudulent ballots 1000 times and still get the same wrong answer.

So again, please explain how the abject Biden was the most popular candidate in US history which MUST be the case if he got 81 million votes. You know damn well he wasn't remotely close to that.

After he lost the election, Trump goons attacking Congress and his fake elector scheme also failed.

You can pretend whatever your worship of the sexual abuser requires of you.

Ignore the documented truth if you must.

Most Americans now recognize that Trump stinks bigly.

And yet another diversion from the question I asked: Again, why do you believe Biden was the most popular presidential candidate in history, even ahead of the landslide winners?

Shazam. That approval rating is six points higher than when Trump kicked Hillary's ass in 2016.
He's doing fantastic!

I accept that you are incapable of handling documented reality.

I wish you a speedy recovery.

Good luck.

I'd like to see a President with some real ability to lead, to build consensus, to persuade, to unite.

This to me is the key personality trait a man (or woman) must have when facing down the challenges the West currently must address.

So when I hear named bandied about I must first ask "does this person have courage"?

Biden actually had a bit of courage in him, even if it was undiplomatic when he called Putin a thug and Xi a thug on separate incidents, I can respect him for expressing himself and indirectly supporting Western values as historically driven by America. I agreed with him keeping Trumps tariffs on China, his folies were allowing an open border and the signing of the I.R.A (along with re-entering the Paris Accord which hurts the middle class of the West).

Regardless, at least he showed a pulse from time to time. I can disagree with a man be it Tucker Carlson, Netanyahu, Zelensky or some far left radical, but if they show some courage in their conviction (and allow others to debate), I will give them the time of day. If they face the fire I can't fault them for having heart and commitment.

Trump at his peak though was the most courageous in our lifetime. He didn't exactly have the "tear down this wall moment", but he came close with his U.N speeches and calling out leaders right to their faces. Who can forget showing a video to African leaders at the Whitehouse? Surviving an assassination and telling his supporters to "fight" will be remembered long after his term ends.

Thus, whoever you choose in 3 years must have courage. We don't need diplomacy. We need straight talk and courage.

Now, you can run down a list in your own minds of who might fit that definition.

For sure President Trump has demonstrated more courage in his convictions than any President in my lifetime. He doesn't easily take no for an answer when he know the answer should be yes. He doesn't give up easily and is willing to risk missing the mark again and again until he finds a real solution and what works to fix a situation or problem. That is why his accomplishments pretty much eclipse all other of our presidents.

It is why so many in the old guard Republicans resent, even hate him. It is why the Democrats unethically, maliciously, without integrity try so hard to bring him down, to destroy him. Their values and intentions were different. Or even when there was good in their efforts, they too easily quit when it was difficult to accomplish their goals. And the single issue fanatics certainly don't help.

Presidential courage though has to be backed up with a MAGA kind of vision that President Trump shares with so many of us. There must be value, a sense of integrity and what is good for America, Americans, and the world included in that courage to act.

President Trump has that.

Some may have courage but are very wrong headed and/or bad actors.
