What kind of memorial could we possibly build to show gratitude for the vets of Afghan?

A small field of poppies would be appropriate. We protected those farmers whom the Taliban despise. We're trying to fly out the interpreters, the farmers will just lose their hands.

So horrible yes. German politicians have recently been calling for Germany to return their troops to Afghanistan (following loss of several of the fallen cities). Not sure what they're thinking...after what 40 plus years of countries battling the Taliban and never winning....20 plus for US alone...no end game yet they (US) knew that and went in anyway? Hopefully, they'll get more interpreters out before they are murdered as well as their families. Need to check for an update but caught a headline earlier about efforts trying to block against the travel ban to get them out. US needs to follow through for once.

How about a Patrick Tillman statue?

While they are deserving of such an honor a few years after it was finished and dedicated some woke idiots would claim it was racist and offensive and has to be removed and the candy asses that pass as leaders now would cave to it.
