What is the purpose of tariffs on Canada?

Which "government sponsored protectionism of Canadian goods" does Trump believe is unfair?

Or do you just make these rationalizations up as you go along?
Already answered, you useless troll.

Okay, I can't believe this actually has to be explained to the cult, but let's do some numbers.

US Population: 340 million.
Canada Population: 40 million

US GDP: $28 trillion
Canada GDP: $2 trillion

Hmmmm, I wonder why it is we buy more shit from Canada than they buy from us.

It's a real fucking mystery, ain't it.

CONSPIRACY!!!
There's a price to pay for not developing your resources.

I agree. You really should stop lying, you troll twat.
Can't answer, can you clown?

Which "government sponsored protectionism of Canadian goods" does Trump believe is unfair?

Just admit you made it up and move on, we all know you did.

As I correctly noted, troll twat: already answered.

Your denial of that fact is of no significance.

There's a price to pay for not developing your resources.

And that price is making Americans pay more for products while we are trying to resolve inflation problems.

And I correctly noted that nowhere was it answered. I can't quote that which does not exist

So lets try again:

No. That was a false claim by you. Repeating it is still false, you shithead.

Nobody asked you to. But you could correctly see where I did answer. If you were honest. Big if.

Same answer.

The tariffs are a gamble. Let's see how it works out. What Canada wants is maintaining a pristine environment, low population growth, but high income for its people and government, at the expense of its trading partners.

...do you not know how to do a simple link?

What is your malfunction exactly?

Seriously, why is Trump so unhappy with an arrangement HE made?

Enquiring minds want to know.

His tariffs are in direct violation of the USMCA which HE made!

The man is positively schizo.
Apparently, he learned that we are $35Trillion in debt mainly due to trade imbalances. :omg:

The water softening system in my apartment building was fine too, until I discovered a leak in the plumbing. What started as a small leak has grown to 6 gallons an hour or 144 gallons per day. Trump is coming tomorrow at 10 a.m. to fix it. :)

You don’t know how to go back and read?

Your malfunction is that you’re libtarded.

I don't see an answer to my question. I can't link to that which doesn't exist.

You say it exists? JUST LINK TO IT dummy.

Until then the question remains:

Which "government sponsored protectionism of Canadian goods" does Trump believe is unfair?

Putting the off topic trolling of assholes like Antoinette aside in order to get back to the OP topic

Here’s a link to wide variety of Canadian tariffs on the USA as recent as 2022.

The purpose of US tariffs on Canuckistan is for the purpose of leveling the field a bit.

(This is still not a post tended to discuss the general value or wisdom of tariffs, in general.)

Aaaaand???

Both countries had certain tariffs against each other.

Antoinette, you need not strain so hard to prove that you’re completely retarded.

It’s already well established.

Great story, but
