The GOP obviously has to do something different. The last few decades conservatives have moved further right after every election loss. They are at the end of their rope. They cannot go any further right without actively seeking the overthrow of the federal government. No place to go except back towards the middle and they would be better off without the deplorable vote.
how much farther left can the democrats go?..both are hopefully at the end of their ropes.....
Think hard. Demonizing Christianity. Restrictions on freedom. Gun confiscation on the horizon......
Almost sounds like Communism huh?

You are aware of Joe's allegiance to China, right ??

In a nutshell, no pun intended, either the sane people are somehow going to be able to grab the party back, or Donald Jr. is next.
If biden gets away with stealing this election there is no future for the GOP other than shining democrats shoes in congress as the minority party

never trumper RINOs who think they have a shot at the white house in the future are just fooling themselves

we will be a china-california style one party state
They have to take the guns first.....

You ain't gonna believe what's about to come down the pike.

$200 PER GUN and PER MAGAZINE TAX (or you can REGISTER all your guns with the Feds) LMAO
As we all know, registration ALWAYS proceeds confiscation.
The Tax deal is just to squeeze you into registering...which you've done anyway if you pay the tax !!
I agree that guns will be a major target of the left

along with the automobile via their man-made-global-warming apocalypse bullshit

and conservative talk radio

there are so many ways for libs to enslave their political opponents that its impossible to list them all

Trump tried to steal an election in which he was soundly defeated.

Thankfully, Local jurisdictions and the courts cared more about the value of our Democracy than partisan bullying from Trump

The GOP will pivot to Ted Cruz with Trump's backing while Jeb Bush, John Kasich, and dickhead Mitt Romney bitch and complain.
Trump carries around Ted Cruz’s testicles in a jar.

His career in higher office is over. He barely beat Beto O’Rourke

Thankfully, unlike Trump, most adults at that level appreciate the gravity of their position and behave accordingly.

Not nearly as leftist as they are made out to be. If they were Bernie Sanders would have been nominated. Progressives didn't really bitch that much either and turned out for Biden. They don't expect a miraclous leftist transformation, they just want a seat at the table and fully expect to have to compromise to get anything they want.

Well, in all fairness......Patriots did nothing.

So in the court of Good Men, they would also be GUILTY as charged

You can't have tyrants without a weak and helpless population.....with our 2nd....we really have ZERO excuse.

The GOP should be letting out a sigh of relief
Trump was soundly defeated. The Trump experiment is done. Time to reclaim the party for real Republican and real Conservative values
I wish that was the case. But all it would have taken is the reversal of 43,800 votes combined votes from Georgia, Wisconsin and Arizona and Donald Trump would have been re-elected President. Trump was defeated by a razer margin just like Hillary was defeated by a razer margin of 77,744 votes in three states in 2016. It is disappointing and means the threat of Donald Trump, at least at the moment, looms over the 2024 election.

His lawsuits have failed. The state election recounts have changed nothing. His "evidence" of voter fraud have failed to pass legal muster with even the most Conservative of judges. More and more states are certifying their election results. The transition of power has begun.
You've been watching too much mainstream media.

... Time to reclaim the party for real Republican and real Conservative values
...
yeah this nutcase does not seem to understand that.the million dollar question is will another globalist like another bush brother or romney get in office in run the country? thats the same thing as having biden in and the republican party is back to being corrupt again.
Let's go back to the 2016 Republican Primary campaign ... the more Republican leadership denigrated The Donald, the more votes he got, eventually winning the nomination ... rank-and-file Republicans are sick up and fed with their Leaders promising and never delivering ... "if Republican leadership is against The Donald, then he must be our man" ... and The Donald did deliver, actually did the things he promised to do ...

I think it unlikely for these rebellious rank-and-file will go back and sheeple for Republican Leadership ...

If The Donald has been playing this to retain control of the GOP ... then he will succeed ... will his heir-apparent be as wise? ...

What policy or behavior indicates the Right has gone too far right?
Are you sure they haven’t stayed right where they’ve always been?

But no.....The GOP still lacks balls.
Trump still controls MAGA and they are afraid of him. They will continue to pander to Trumps lunacy and doom the party.
It’s so wonderful how you leftwingers are so concerned about the GOP. If only they could all be like Mc-Shit-Stain and Romney, then the Dems could screw the country over unopposed.

Always been since when? The first president I remember is Johnson. Been watching politics since I was young and I might have been the only little kid in America that kept up with the Watergate scandal. Having said that it is clear to me that the republican party of 1970 had more in common with the "leftists" in today's democratic party. The hard right that controls the GOP now resembles the old Dixiecrat segregationists more than anything else.

-Donald Trump has lost to Joe Biden-

What will the GOP look and sound like after 2020? Will Trump remain a powerful voice within the GOP? Will his legal and financial woes catch up with him? Will this 70+ year old, obese man be with us much longer? Donald Trump has pulled the GOP in a far different direction than that of Ronald Reagan. What is the future of the GOP?

Thoughts?
tRump owns them. They have no one else.

Let’s try again...what policy or behavior indicates a move toward the “hard right”?

It's Trump's party for the foreseeable future.

That's why most of the leadership in the Republican Party have been acting like spineless cowards.
Absolutely.

And that is why we should not elect a republican to any national office until all the current republican national office holders have been voted out, retired or otherwise departed the national stage. They are a party that cannot be trusted with democracy.
